SunooXEnha: Your Sunshine

Today was a quiet day in Enhypen's dorm. The boys have a comeback very soon so in order to recharge themselves, the company gave them the weekend off. Heeseung as usual was holed up in his room playing league. Jay was napping, catching up on sleep that he barely loses. Jake and Jungwon were playing with lego, their newfound obsession. Sunghoon and Niki were at the gym.

Sunoo, after a late-night kdrama binge, barely just woke up. He noticed that no one was in the bedroom so he quickly checked his phone to see the time. It was already 2 pm. He groggily slipped out of bed and went to the living room to find Jake and Jungwon playing with legos.

"Hyung! You're finally awake," Jungwon greeted, his eyes not taking off the toy blocks in front of him.

"Morning, sunshine~" Jake chimed in, picking out a piece and handing it over to Jungwon.

"I didn't realize I would wake up this late. Have you guys had lunch?" Sunoo asked.

"Yeah, Jay said you can heat up the leftover curry that's in the fridge once you wake up," Jungwon replied.

Sunoo walked over to the kitchen and opened the fridge but there was no leftover curry. He went over to check the pot but it was already in the sink. That's when Jungwon walked in to grab a drink from the fridge and said, "oops. I actually forgot Niki ate the rest."

"Oh, that's fine. I am not that hungry anyway," Sunoo made up a lie, "I will just have dinner later."

"About that, Jake hyung and I are meeting Niki and Sunghoon hyung after their workout to go out and eat together. But we are getting ssalguksu and you don't really like it so we didn't bother to ask," Jungwon shut the fridge door and returned to the living room.

Sunoo could only sigh. His members used to be so attentive to him. Being in the maknae line, his hyungs were always looking out for him. Jungwon and Niki also adored him. Although Sunoo was older than them, Jungwon and Niki liked pampering him and he liked being pampered. But now, maybe because all of them were constantly together for the past three years, everyone seemed to have gotten comfortable with the new normal.

"Please prepare the artists, we are going in 3 minutes!" the staff of Inkigayo announced.

The staff in Enhypen's green room scuffled to fix their artists one last time. "My mic seems loose," Sunoo commented.

Their road manager, Seo Joonho noticed that Sunoo wasn't being helped so he approached to undo the mic and carefully wrapped it around Sunoo again. His hands went under Sunoo's shirt, coming out through the neck opening to pull out the wire. He hung it over Sunoo's head, adjusted the mic to his mouth, and said, "all done."

Sunghoon, who was on the other side of the room, silently watched them. He approached Heeseung, tapping the oldest member on the shoulder. "Don't you think the road manager is being too touchy with Sunoo?"

Heeseung took a quick look across the room and saw Joonho tucking Sunoo's shirt in. He turned back to Sunghoon, "I think he's just trying to help."

Sunghoon isn't convinced. So he walked over to Jay, who was the second closest to him. "What do you think about the new manager hyung?"

"What about it?"

"He's obviously trying to flirt with Sunoo," Sunghoon stated the obvious. Is everyone else blind? Jay was about to reply but they were interrupted by the staff yelling it was time for them to go on stage. Sunghoon could only sigh.

Anyone with a pair of eyes and a brain cell can tell that Enhypen adores Sunoo. In their debut era, they gatekept him like a pearl in a clam. But now, after having Sunoo in their hands for a bit too long, they seemed to be too comfortable with the idea that Sunoo will always be their sunshine.
