Shao Yue and Xie took their time walking up Rainbow Mist Peak. They walked with their arms linked and chatted, frequently laughing and smiling.
Cai Fei stood on one of the balconies of the tallest pagoda, watching them. "They really look good together. Yue's golden hair and Xie's silver hair."
Hu'er leaned against the railing and peered out. She had obtained a flesh and blood body, freed from being merely a Spirit. Her charms had only increased with time, though her hair and fur had turned pure white as her bloodline developed.
"You three still look best together," Hu'er said. "Even better when I'm included! Black, gold, silver, white, it's like a different rainbow!"
Ruxin, Cai Fei's former Spirit, leaned against the wall. Understandably, her human form looked very similar to the Black Sky Butterfly, dark skin and long black hair. Her personality also matched, cold and indifferent to anyone who wasn't Cai Fei.
Shao Xing was also present. She hadn't changed much, physically. "Starlight is cuter."
Shao Xing's sword, Starlight, had also attained a human form, like Xie. However, Starlight was extremely shy and almost nobody had seen her. Shao Xing also didn't get romantically involved with her sword, as her other self had, but still treated it fondly.
Many of Shao Yue's other old friends were present on the peak as well. Her direct disciples, the remaining other disciples, Liezhu and Shenyu, even the Bashe that had occupied Xie's sword form long ago.
The number of disciples only went down as time passed. Some died, some left. Shao Yue never brought in more, leaving the peak as a nostalgic slice of the past.
She did her best to preserve it. She'd created pills that improved aptitude for all of the direct disciples. The materials for such a heaven-defying pill were quite expensive, so for the other disciples, she created longevity pills, giving them tens of thousands of extra years of life to help make up for any lacking aptitude.
Shao Yue greeted many of them as she went on, slowly gathering a crowd. Once she reached the peak and had everyone around, she explained her purpose, even if many of them had guessed it.
"I've recently finished stabilizing my breakthrough into the Genesis Realm," Shao Yue announced. "I've created a world, but I need to populate it with life. Life can't come from nothing, so I'd like to receive some blood from all of you. I'll mix drops together to make seeds of life for the world."
For cultivators, giving up some blood wouldn't hurt them too much. They started drawing their blood in whatever way they found most comfortable.
Shao Yue looked to Sun Anrou. "I'd like blood from all your monsters, too."
Sun Anrou had continuously expanded her herd of monster beasts over the myriad years. She had thousands of them, able to provide a good variety of creatures for Shao Yue's world.
A short while later, Shao Yue had a ton of blood.
"I'll let everyone watch."
Everyone felt their vision shift. They could see a planet floating within a void. Its true location was within Shao Yue's body, the interior space of which had expanded greatly through her cultivation.
The planet had a normal appearance. Three major continents covered in a mix of biomes along with many islands. The water was blue and the land primarily green, matching most planets suitable for human life. Relative to other planets, it was fairly small.
Shao Yue started distributing the blood.
To avoid the penalties of incest as much as possible, she separated each donation into individual drops, then spread them out so that each drop was at least a hundred kilometers away from other blood donated by that person, quite a long distance for a mortal to travel for no reason.
