Liezhu returned to her human form and stared at the flood dragon's human form with wide eyes, her breathing heavy.

"Shao Yue, I want her."

Shao Yue sighed. She stepped over to the flood dragon and pressed her hand down on its body, sealing its cultivation base.

"Didn't you say you weren't interested in girls?"

"No, I said I didn't share your preferences. Cai Fei isn't my type, but this woman..." Liezhu knelt down next to the flood dragon. "Two choices. One, I eat you alive. Two, you become my Dao companion."

Things had changed too quickly for the flood dragon to properly react. She blinked several times, then swept her gaze up and down Liezhu's body. "Are you... male or female?"

"Alright, for that one, I'm taking a bite."

Liezhu leaned in and tore a chunk of flesh out of the flood dragon's shoulder with her teeth, swallowing it, blood dripping down her chin. The flood dragon grit her teeth, but didn't cry out.

Shao Yue rubbed her temples. "Liezhu, you're a Dragon Devouring Spider, and she's a dragon. Is it really appropriate to fall in love with your prey?"

"I can't help it! Look at her! She's totally my type!"

"You can say that, but I don't know what your type is. Besides, the Ocean Emperor wants her spine, we can't really give that over without killing her."

"Just refuse him," Liezhu said, waving her hand dismissively. "He's weaker than you, what's he going to do? And who's more important, me, or him?"

Shao Yue's face twitched. "Seriously, are you messing with me? You've never shown the slightest hint of interest in romance before, but now, in this sort of situation, you've fallen in love at first sight with this flood dragon?"

"Is it any worse than you falling for Fei?"

"Almost certainly. That at least took several years." Shao Yue sighed. "Well, we don't have to hand over the spine for a few years. Maybe you'll clear your head by then."

"Hmph. We'll see."

"Wrap her up and let's go."

The flood dragon was still quite confused about everything, but she didn't have the power to resist. The other two were much stronger than her. At least her life didn't seem to be in danger in the short-term.

Shao Yue flew back up. Liezhu followed, carrying the flood dragon that had been fully cocooned in silk. When they reached the level of the boats, the barriers sealing the area started to fall. The lightning returned to the sky and the ocean flowed back in. Before long, there was no trace of the battle.

They landed on the middle ship. Shao Yue took out the horn and tossed it to the Thunder Emperor. "Here's the horn. As agreed, we'll deliver the spine in a few years after Liezhu finishes consuming all of the flood dragon's life force."

They'd already discussed it in detail before, so there was no need to argue. Liezhu would benefit the most from consuming the dragon live, but wouldn't be able to do so completely in a short period of time.

The ships started heading back to the Central Qilin Pavilion while Liezhu and Shao Yue went back to their room.

Shao Yue sat down and rubbed her temples for a while before taking out the puppet. "Fei, did you know Liezhu likes women?"

Cai Fei was a bit disoriented and took a moment to process the words. "Eh? Liezhu does?"

"Apparently." Shao Yue sighed, clearly troubled.
