"Good morning Mr. Henderson" A maid greeted me. I just nod before taking a seat at the dining table.
Soon after my parents joined. Lia Henderson and Leo Henderson.
"Good morning Luke" my mom said. "Morning" I say without looking off my phone.
I was texting Eric he was at some girls house and wanted me to pick him up. "Luke!" My dad shouted.
I look up to see both my parents staring at me, anger laced their eyes.
"Dad?" We were apart of the Mafia, well my parents, I'm not part of it, I don't think I ever will. Not the point. Many people found them scary, not me though, I mean why would I? I grew up with them, they're my parents.
"We need to discuss you join-" before he could finish I cut him off. "I don't want to be apart of the Mafia Dad, how many times am I gonna tell you that I'm not into that" I say getting up with too much force.
"Luke at least come take a look" my mom says. I take up my school bag and look back at them. "Would you just let it go I'm never gonna join. I'm going to school" I say before walking out.
They have been bugging me about it ever since I became eighteen and I have told them multiple times that I'm not interested but they won't take no for an answer.
I didn't even get to eat breakfast. Whatever I'll survive. Not my first rodeo.
I get in my car, put on my seat belt and start the engine of my car before speeding out of our garage.
Pulling up at the address Eric sent me.
He got in the passenger seat and closed the door. "What the fuck Eric" I say angry. "What?" He says with a shrug of his shoulders.
"You slept at someone's house, oh mom and dad are so gonna kill you" I say before driving off.
Ana's POV:
I got out of my car when I see Gia waiting for me at the school entrance. I hold my book close to my chest, hugging it while walking towards her.
I tap her on her shoulder before she turns around and hugs me while squealing with happiness.
How did I get such an energetic friend again? When all I like to do most of the time is read, sleep and listen to sad songs. I'm so damn depressed.
"Do you know how long I have been waiting for you" she says after hugging me.
