Lilah: Chapter 34

Five months later......

Ana's POV:

"Aria, Aria! I got the part! I got the part!" I scream as I run towards Aria's room.

I had just got the part in a movie.

I've always wanted to become an actress since I was little and the day has finally come.

She looks at me with a surprised face before she starts squealing.

"Oh my gosh! Yes!" She squeals

"Have you told Ace?" She asks

"No actually I think he's still at work" I say

"Ok whatever we're gonna celebrate without him. Go get ready"

I nod before going to my room. I pick out a dress I bought just last week actually.

I lay it on my bed before I take up my phone.

My phone turns on revealing my wallpaper which is a picture of Luke and I when he took me on a picnic.

I slight tear rolls down my eye before I could even realize.

We looked so happy. Why didn't I stay?

Don't be ridiculous Ana.

My name is Lilah.

Like I was saying. We don't need to think about the past. Let's focus on the present.

And we're not going back. Ever.

I put down my phone with a sigh before going in the bathroom.

I turn on the shower then turn to the mirror.

As the shower runs I take off my clothes then let down my now blonde hair from it's bun.

Yeah I died my hair blonde.

Why not?! We deserve changes. Right?

I then step in the shower and the warm water flows down my back relaxing every part of my body.

"Lilah I swear if you don't come ou-

She was cut off by me opening my room door.

"I'm ready, jeez"

"You know your really hot. Right?" She says

"I guess" I say scrunching my face.

"You deserve a boyfriend. Why don't you have a boyfriend? Or maybe you do and he's a secret boyfriend" she gasps

"I really don't want to talk about boyfriends right now" I say as I walk pass her.

"Oooh, does that mean you have a boyfriend?" She asks

"Aria, please don't start" I say

She gets the point and never said anything about boyfriends after wards.

"Ok I'm definitely underdressed" I shout over the music to Aria.

She took me to a club.

Not really what I had in mind to celebrate my first movie, but it is what it is.

"It's fine"

We go over to the bar and sit on the stools that were available.

She orders drinks for us but I kindly deny.

"Why don't you ever drink?" She asks

"I Just- I don't know" I shrug

Like I actually don't know.

But I guess I'm just not into it.

I chuckle before speaking.

"I have only drunk one time and it was when I basically roasted my ex at his own party" I regretted what I said the moment the words left my lips.

"So you have drunk before" she says

"But can you please tell me more about your life before you came here cause you don't really talk about it much" she pleads.

"Seriously Ari in a bar? How about when we reach home I'll tell you anything you want" I say

"Deal"

The rest of the night was fun until I saw Aria talking to a guy.

I didn't pay much attention to it until she called me over.

I push threw the bodies of people until I caught up to her.

She stands infront of a guy who was way taller than me and her.

"Lilah this is Luke, Luke this is Lilah" she introduces us.

Hearing the name 'Luke' gives me the shivers but I'm just gonna brush it off.

I smile up at him as I look at him.

I could bearly see his face due to the bad lighting.

"Your friend Aria has told me a lot about you" he says

My body freezes.

That voice!

The voice of Luke Henderson. My ex-boyfriend.

Why is he here? Why here? Why now?

"Umm Aria, umm I'm gonna-I'll be right back"

Pushing through the crowd of people I make my way outside.

My heart beat is faster than usual and I can bearly catch my breath.

I hand comes on my shoulder and I flinch.

I turn around to Luke.

"Lilah huh? I remember you being Ana five months ago" he says
