"How far is it" I asked

"Just 45 more minutes" he said

"No thats so much" I said and he chuckled

"Wait mani, I have a question"

"What is it"

"Where are we going tom"

"Oh that okay so you remember the photoshoot and wedding that mrs Murthy's daughter is having" he asked and I nodded

"So we have that in Shimla and since cabir knows now so I don't have to leave you alone. And we will need your inputs as well so we are going to Shimla. i hope you don't have anything urgent this next week" he said

"No nothing too special til the next month"

"Good because this is our first trip together and I'm looking forward to it" he said making me smile

I moved closer to him and place my hand on the back of his neck caressing it and tugging on his hair. i always do this when he is driving and I know he loves it because he leans in my touch

"You'll be okay and I promise I will be on my best behaviour" I said and he smiled at me

"What's your dad's name" I asked

"Raj malhotra" he said with a smile on his face

"Mom's" I asked

"Nyonika malhotra" he said and the anger was clearly visible in his eyes

"And may I ask what they have done"

"Yes you may" he said

"You don't have to if you don't want to" he nodded

"I want to. Umm my dad is sweet, I think you will definitely like him and he might love you more than me. He is this prankster, always pulling stupid shit with me. Before I left home, we ours play cricket every Sunday, we had at leave one movie night where we watched avengers and Spiderman. It was a good time" he said

His face had this glow oh his face but his whole dropped the next second making me wonder what was wrong

"Nyonika on the other hand um, we never really bonded I guess, for reasons known best to her but ya thats my family I guess" he said

"Why don't you call her mom" I asked

"She doesnt deserve it"

"Nandini don't, you can push me to do anything but not this" he said

"Im not pushing baby, im just saying no matter what she may have done, you cannot put yourself through that"

"Im already through it, and it isn't gonna stop. She is the one who took the money from my account" he said

"Why so"

"Probably some petty fucking trick of hers"

"Will you at least not jump on her, let her explain maybe"

"No" came his direct answer

"Okay" I mummbled smiling at him

He was moving his hand on my thigh making me smile, because he was thinking something.

"Can we go home instead" he asked

"No sir, that would not be good"

"Why so" he asked glancing at me

"We already lost umm about an hour and a little bit driving here and turning back now doesnt seem useful"
