Manik's pov

I was going though the files nandini finished for me and honestly there was maybe a couple mistakes but nothing major. She did such an amazing job and to think she finished in half the time it would take me is commendable. She is a lady with many talents and I adore her.

There was a knock on my cabin but I ignored it thinking they got the wrong door becasue no one comes in my cabin other then nandini, cabir and Navya and they never knock. Plus people have knocked a few times before but they always whisper a sorry and leave

"Come in" I said when I didn't hear a sorry

"Sir I hope im not disturbing" I looked up to see ashna

"Hi ashna, no not at all whats up"

"Did nandini come up here" she asked

"No, isnt she supposed to be in a meeting" I asked

"Yes, it has been about two hours so I went in but she wasn't there, her purse is there and there is nothing on her sketch pad"

'What do you mean ashna, when was the last time you saw her" I asked getting up

"When I sent the man in"

"The client, he is a new client, wouldn't give any details not even his name. He said he needs to see nandini urgently and she said it was okay so I"

"Fuckk, ashna get me cabir now and Arun" I said and she nodded running outside hearing the urgency in my voice

"Shit shit where are you nandini" I said skimming the security system to see if she scanned her card to go out but she hadn't

I saw that she had scanned to come in but that was with me. She never leaves without scanning so I know she has to be in the building. I grabbed the office phone to make an announcement but cabir and arun ran in

"Where is nandini?" I asked them

"What? I thought you two were gonna stay home" cabir said

"Ya me too, she told me this morning on the phone" arun said

"Fuckkk" I mummbled

"Nandini ma'am you are needed upstairs on the 80th floor urgently" I heard the announcement so I knew it was ashna who made it

"Shit shit, where is she" I yelled and arun grabbed me before I started throwing stuff

"Relax she must be in the building somewhere" cabir said

"She better fucking be or im firing a whole bunch of people"

"Manik sir, I can't find her, the man who went in didnt go out either, I asked the security but nothing. Im getting worried for her" ashna said coming in

"What do you mean"

"The security said he didn't leave and neither did Nandini"

"Fucking hell, arun get me the fucking footage from Nandini's cabin and outside her cabin now"

"On it" he said running out

"Sir I don't think this is good" ashna said

"Grab me nandini's things and anything you may find, look for her phone" I said and she nodded walking out

"Manik breath, and think. Did she mention who this client was"

"No, ashna doesnt know either he refused to even tell her his name"

"Shit, this isn't looking too good" he said and I threw the office phone on the ground
