"Can we come in" I heard cabir's voice
"Ya"
He walked in with Navya, ashna and arun, I wondered who asked ashna to come but then I noticed her gripping Arun's hand so I knew they were dating. They sat down on the other side of the bed and couch.
"How is she" cabir asked
"So much better, she cried for hours but I think we are finally getting that old nandini back"
"She seems peaceful" arun said looking at her
"Of course she is" Navya smirked saying this
"What do you mean" I asked
"Umm manik, I saw the discharge papers" arun said
"What do they say" ashna asked
"Baby they, shittt" arun said realizing what he said and ashna's eyes widened making me laugh
"No I umm, I meant" he scrambled to speak
"Relax, it's fine. Im happy you two are together" I said
"Finally man, he was shit scared to tell you" cabir said
"You guys knew" I asked
"Yup, well nandini caught them first which is why ashna and her got closer" Navya said
"Shut up" arun said
"See now I can tease you too" I said
"Right, so the papers said mrs nandini malhotra instead of dhawan" he said
"Oh my fucking god" cabir screamed
"Shut it" I said looking at nandini to see if she was still sleeping
"You did not change her name you fucker"
"Calm your fucking ass, I might have said im her husband by accident so I think they just put nandini malhotra" I explained
"Might as well get married" ashna said making me smile
"Soon" I whispered kissing Nandini's forehead
"When did she sleep" Navya asked
"About 30 minutes ago" I said and she nodded
"Once she is up we gotta go to the police station" arun said
"Not today, I don't wanna remind her of that again, just give her some time. Umm ill talk to the officer on the phone" I said and he nodded
We were all talking about taking a trip tom to change the scenery for nandini, ya we just got back from a trip but that was a work thing but this, I need this to be a happy trip for her.
"Dude wake her up, I miss her" Navya said
"Navya stop it" I said moving her arm becasue she was caressing nandini's back
"Im bored, you guys are no fun right ashna"
"Yup, im gonna fall a sleep" ashna sided with her
"Okay no, hey hands off" I said when they both poked her arm
"She has been sleeping for hours" ashna said
"Ya but she needs it" arun said
"Exactly"
"No shut up, nandini wake up" Navya said caressing her arm
"Navya yar"
"Manik she has been sleeping for more than 3 hours and she needs to sleep at night too" navya said
"Still, let her sleep, ill make sure she sleeps at night"
"Shut up" she said and moved right beside me caressing nandini's hair
"Baby wake up" she said making me glare at her
"Nooo I wanna sleep bhabhi" she wined
"See told you" I said grinning at her
"I thought we would get some ice cream"
"Ice cream" she said opening her eyes
"Damn it navya, cabir get your wife out of here" I said but it was too late because she was already up
"Ice cream umm" she said licking her lips and sitting up in my lap
"No shona sleep" I said and she shook her head rubbing her eyes
"I want ice cream" she said
I glared at navya hearing this but she and ashna giggled like freaking school girls who were gossiping or something
"Yes lets go, these boys are so boring" ashna said
"Mani is boring" nandini said giggling making me shake my head
"Now im boring" I asked and she nodded
Navya and ashna got down from the bed and stood there while cabir and arun glared at them both
"We are boring huh" arun asked
"Yup super boring" ashna said
"Ya of course we are, just wait and watch" cabir said and I knew something was cooking in his head
"Manik" nandini said making me look at her
"Yes babe"
"Mai jaa" she asked making me smile
"Ji jaa, but you arent gonna run around okay the doctor has said to be very light on your feet so ill drop you on the couch okay" she nodded
I picked her up and followed navya and ashna downstairs. They both jumped on the couch making me shake my head at their excitement. They literally are always together but still
"Do not run, sit here okay" she nodded
"Go shoo away now, let us have a girls night" navya said
"She doesn't run or walk" I said and they both nodded
I bend down and kissed nandini's head, she grinned like a child who got their favourite toy. I walked upstairs to arun and cabir.
"Xbox" cabir asked
"We just through such a stressful situation and this is what you want to do" I said and he nodded
"She is fine, her eyes tell a lot and you know it too" he replied
"Thats actually true otherwise you wouldn't have let her go downstairs" arun added
"Her eyes say a lot" I said smiling remembering the glint in her eyes
"You are such a lover boy" arun said grabbing the controller
"I am but so are you and cabir" I said and they both just shrugged their shoulder. We all sat down in front of the tv playing xbox.
