"Nandini walk straight" I heard Manik's voice making me cry
I walked straight without questioning anything becasue I knew he would never let me get hurt. I walked straight for the longest time and then I heard his voice again
"That's good" he said and I was about to open the blindfold
"No babe, don't touch it" he said so I put my hands down
A few seconds later I felt him behind me and then the blindfold opened. I opened my eyes and blinked a few times. I gasped at the site infant of me, it was a beautiful sunrise, there were hot air balloons everywhere, the sun was rising.
"Manik" I whispered looking back and my jaw hit the floor
He was sitting on one knee wearing a shirt and ripped jeans. He had this beautiful box in his hands and behind him was a banner in the sky 'Will you marry me nandini dhawan' it read and I knew I had tears on my face
"I met you when I was lost, I hated the person I was, I was an angry ruthless stupid arrogant person. I was 5 years old when I felt held you in my arms, you were nothing more than my best friend's sister to me. As we grew up we argued every single second we were together but I still remember when cabir left you with me the first time. You made me love myself so I could love you. You believed in me when I had given up. You have been my backbone nandini and I never wanna lose you becasue there is no manik without nandini. I don't wanna spend a single moment without you ever. I am not the best or anywhere near perfect person but I promise to always try to make you happy. WILL YOU MARRY ME MS NANDINI DHAWAN?"
I didn't know how to hold my tears and I immediately burst out crying like a little girl. I jumped in his arms, he held me with one arm while the other arm rested on the floor to stabilize us
"I love you so so much manik and yes I will marry you ,goshhh a million times yes" I mumbled in his neck crying
"Shh don't cry Jaan, I love you so much more" he kissed my cheek
I pulled back and kissed his lips, he smiled against my lips making me smile as well. He pulled back and pecked my forehead. He kissed my nose and took the ring out of the box. He slid the ring in my finger and kissed over top of it
