Chapter 35

I got back to the room to see her in the same place, not a single movement to her and it hurt a lot.

"Go home manik, and then come back after you have showered and freshen up" cabir said seeing me back

"Im not leaving her so don't ask again" I replied

I clutched nandini's hand harder, I was losing patience. It had been about 24 hours since she has talked to me. I need her.

"Please Jaan, I need you, please wake up" I mummbled against her hand kissing it

A few more hours went by and I felt her fingers wiggling in my hands. I moved back and left her hand to see if I was right

"Cabirrr she moved her hand" I said pulling him and Navya to the bed and  pointing at nandini's fingers

"Ya she is waking up" Navya said

"She is" I whispered

A few minutes later she stirred and I was biting my nails hoping she wakes up and my prayers were answered. For the first time I was believing in god, he gave me Nandini, the biggest blessing.

"Manik" she whispered and I couldn't help but cry hearing her voice after 24 hours

"Jaan" I whispered sitting beside her holding her hand

"Im gonna get the doctor" cabir said leaving the room

"Ma manik" she cried getting up

"Shhh, its okay" I said helping her up placing a pillow behind her

"You are okay right he didnt do anything to you" she cried

"Im okay baby, relax" I said holing her hand

She started coughing so I placed the glass of water to her lips, she had a few gulps and then turned her head. The doctor came in before I could further say anything

"How are you feeling nandini"

"Okay" she mummbled staring at the floor

The doctor checked her blood pressure, vitals, other important things. He was taking a note of everything and then looked at me.

"She is fine, we are gonna keep her under observations for tonight and you can take her home tom morning"

"Thank you" I mummled and he left

"Nandini tu this hai na" capir asked sitting on the other side of her

"Han bhai" she whispered

"Baby get well soon, we need to watch the new movie that came out" Navya said kissing her head and Nandini gave her a tiny smile

"Im sorry I troubled everyone" she whispered

"Thapad khayegi agar dubara bola toh" cabir said caressing her hair and dropping a kiss on her head

i saw her eyes watering a little making mine water as well. there were a billion things going on in her head, her face was dull and I was regretting ever leaving her alone for her meeting but I am never repeating it again

"Umm manik we are gonna go home to freshen up, ill send clothes and some healthy food" Navya said understanding that nandini needs time

"Manik call me if you need anything" cabir said getting up

"I will" I said but my eyes were locked on nandini

"She is okay, she just needs time with you" he said and I nodded

"Get well soon doll" cabir said kissing her head

"Fell better baby" Navya said kissing her head as well
