"She's such a stupid girl," I muttered in the back seat, startling Marg

"What is wrong Empress?"

I sighed.

"Y/n is whats wrong. She drives me insane!"

"... May I ask what's your relationship with the girl?"

I lifted my brow at her. "That's the first you've ever asked.."

"I'm sorry Empress. I'm just surprised at how close you are with her."

"It was work related and I didn't even have a choice getting assigned with her."

".. Yet you could have still argued your way right Empress? But aren't you glad? Y/n seems to be having a good impact on you," Marg said with a neutral tone

"What do you mean good impact on me?"

she coughs awkwardly 

"Uh.. your flight is next month right? Do you think you could continue on with your life without the girl?"

i tilted my head up.. that's right .. my flight is in the first week of next month ..

a new life without .. y/n..

it'd probably be less noisy and I won't have to worry about her anymore

but .. would I actually .. want that..

"Do you really think.. I've gotten closer with
y/n..?"

"Certainly. You and her have traveled together, shared a room at one point, and.. to be honest Empress.. i'm not surprised if you and her had done something more than that.."

i was shocked at that last part ..

how could she say that so nonchalantly

i bit the inside of my lip hoping to not show any kind of expression

but shes a kid .. how would I know if she's actually serious with me ..

she did confess to me at point and i still, haven't given her any kind of response

i wanna know if she likes me for me .. and not just because i was a spitting image of her past lover

well .. reiju appeared in her life already and i thought they'd live happily ever after again .. and yet—

y/n chooses to still be with me
