Merry Christmas everyone and I appreciate those who's still reading this book!❤️‍🔥🌲

I woke up to Hancock already gone. Such a hard worker-- can't lose to her now. I had only afternoon classes at 3 so I had plenty of time to laze around. But... I can't do that.

Vacuuming every room and meticulously making our bed, I couldn't help but smirk at the irony of being the self-proclaimed "housewife." However, the thought of Hancock returning to a spotless apartment made the effort worthwhile.
I ate our leftover Chinese food from last night and took a long bath before putting on my uniform. Looking at myself in the mirror, got me thinking of getting a new haircut... But I don't really know what hair cut would match me. My hair is shagged out with uneven layered cuts so maybe I'll fix that.

I went to a 5 stars salon to get groomed, especially for our date tonight. As I settled into the plush salon chair, I asked the stylist about the ideal haircut that would complement my features.

The stylist worked their magic, transforming my boring hair into a stylish, refreshed look. The mirror reflected a new version of myself, and a surge of confidence accompanied the subtle change. "Wow. It's no wonder you guys have a 5 star... nice"

"Thank you Ma'am. You look like a celebrity," the stylist says.

I eyed at her. "Giving me fake compliments won't make me give you a fat tip, you know."

Her eyes slightly widened, containing her laugh. "Don't worry Ma'am. I am being genuine. You look beautiful."

hehe

leaving the salon with a new look, I admired the city's hustle and bustle. The streets seemed to shimmer with a different energy, aligning perfectly with the suspense of the evening ahead. As I made my way home, thoughts of our upcoming date flashed in my mind, and I couldn't wait to see Hancock's reaction to the surprise transformation.

I didn't own a car... yet so I had to get a taxi every time and I would always come in early.

The sight of Hina Sensei, once again indulging in her forbidden cigarette in front of the building, marked the start of another day in the strict officer training program.

The training grounds buzzed with activity as my comrades and I gathered for the day's challenge. Today's task was an obstacle course—a hard "obby" that tested our physical prowess, mental agility, and teamwork. As we geared up for the challenge, we were all lowkey nervous

Hina Sensei addressed the group with her trademark smirk, "Today, you'll be facing an obstacle course that will push you to your limits. Make me proud, recruits."

The only thing I like about her is how incredibly good she is with her job as our official.

The first obstacle, a series of towering walls, tested our climbing skills. We hoisted each other over, relying on trust and coordination to conquer the towering barriers. Next came a rope climb, challenging our upper body strength, followed by a muddy trench crawl that left us smudged in the dirt.

As we navigated each obstacle, Hina Sensei observed us from a far angle, her eyes keenly assessing our performance. She yelled commands, pushing us to go faster, think smarter, and work seamlessly as a team. The finale of the course got us a final sprint to the finish line. Exhausted but exhilarated, we managed to cross the finish line together--- well I finished first but hey, teamwork.

Hina Sensei, ever the patient observer, nodded in approval. "Not bad, recruits. You showed tenacity and adaptability. Remember, officers need to be versatile in the face of challenges."

Inhaling deeply for air, Hina Sensei placed a cold water bottle beside my cheek as I let out a surprised shriek. "That's cold!"

She flashed a mischievous smile. "You're welcome."
