Chapter Sixteen
ARIANNA P.O.V
Monday soon came and my second week starts, sigh I just hope the groupies wouldn’t bother me now, weird it’s like they read my mind Lily, Alice and Marlene were already walking me to my first class and there were no signs of the groupies; no death glares ‘accidental’ bumps, or hexes. Marlene seemed to notice that my guard was up,
“What’s up Arianna? You seem so tense.” She said as we walked
“Nothing,” I said “it’s just those groupies of Black, that’s all.”
Alice managed a giggle “oh don’t worry about them; I think they wouldn’t bother you anymore.”
“And why?” I said raising an eyebrow
“Well, they apologized to you, forced or not that’s unusual and they might actually stop.”
I just shrugged
“What do girls here even see in Black?” I asked
“I have no idea.” Said Lily
“Same here.” Said Marlene “But I’m sure; when he falls he’ll fall hard. Really hard.”
“Why’d you say that Marlene?” asked Alice
“He’s a player, he’s never really experienced to take someone seriously, it would be fun to watch for sure.” Said Marlene, which Lily and Alice agreed to, I just shrugged
“Can’t wait ‘til that girl comes,” said Lily as we got to the corridor to the Potions Classroom “she’d be a legend to actually tame Sirius Black.”
Alice giggled “Yeah, but she would just be another story compared to the girl that actually turns him down and breaks his heart! THAT girl would be LEGENDARY.”
The four of us just laughed, and I shook my head
“Really girls? The girl that turns him down a legend?” I said “he’s only a boy.”
“Not to the girls here, well except for the four of us, Alice has Frank-“ said Marlene, and Alice blushed scarlet, Frank Longbottom was this boy in our year that she fancies “I have er, you already know,” the three of us rolled our eyes, Marlene liked Bertram Aubrey from Hufflepuff “and well Lily here has Potter.”
Alice and I laughed at Lily’s expression of anger
“What do you mean?!” She was clearly pissed, she really hated Potter, but hey the boy is obsessed with her so we have no one to pair her up with. We finally reached the Potions classroom and they dropped me off, I waved my friends goodbye and I got inside.
