As the sun began to set on the house that evening, a new set of renewed faith hung over everyone in the house, but it was soon to be put to the test that night. The night started off simple with everyone having drinks and sharing memories of Andrea as her body lay in a beautiful casket in the living room. Joanna wanted everyone to see Andrea's body and drink with it and let everything out because tomorrow was a new day. The gods even joined in and that's when a half-drunk Paula said "For gods, you sure act human" and that's when Maya spoke up and said, "We act well-mannered and dignified because we carry huge responsibilities that demand seriousness and it does get boring but it's the sacrifice you make when you're a god tasked with guarding a universe full of others... it's no wonder Agathor rebelled, but when this is all over I suppose we'll have to make changes to prevent another uprising".

Maya smiled, picked up a drink, and said: "Deep down we have wants and needs just like you but we are taught to suppress it...but for tonight I say fuck it and let loose for my two lost celestial children". Everyone, even Maldor clapped and raised their glasses and drank and danced and had a good time playing goofy party games as well as looking at pictures of Andrea and jay that hung on the walls and in their offices and imagining how much fun they must've had when it was taken. After partying for a bit longer Andrea's mother drank Paula under the table and was still sober so she helped clean up before retiring to her room, unaware of the danger about to unfold.

It was around 3 AM in the morning when Maldor and Maya both broke from meditation and ran to each other with wide eyes saying in unison "Did you feel that?" Maldor said, "There's a giant wave of chaotic energy closing on us...I fear they've come for Andrea's body". Maya rushed over to the window and there as far as the eye could see was a giant Army of red-eyed figures closing on the house. Maya went outside whilst Maldor woke everyone up and assembled them quickly in the living room before teleporting Andrea's body into the basement with a lock on the casket". Maldor said "We need weapons" as Paula who was now sober; quickly ran into Jay's office and came back with a pile of guns and ammunition. Andrea's mother looked concerned and Paula sighed and said "these were in case Agathor or the government came and hunted them or something...so relax they're not drug smugglers or anything Mrs. M". Maldor said, "no matter what do not let them get Andrea's body at all costs and do not let their hands touch you or you'll become one".

Everyone grabbed a gun as Maldor headed outside and they began to repel the waves of the black, red-eyed creatures that used to be people. Unlike the Anti-gods, these creatures were vulnerable as their bodies were just corrupted humans which meant if the body died then the evil entities possessing their hearts died. Andrea's mother opened the window and said "This is for my daughter" as she opened fire and began to cut the creatures down while at the rear of the house, Raúl and Joanna did the same...they were old but they sure knew how to handle shotguns quite well. The firefight continued for another hour before the ammunition ran out and the creatures invaded the house. Despite this, everyone grabbed knives, poles, and even some of Jay's power tools from the garage and continued fighting. It was so surreal and felt as if they were living in a real-life zombie movie.

The siege lasted for a total of two hours and not once had any one of those creatures reached the basement door. The living room was covered in blood and guts as well as the family and nerves were shot and just about everyone was shaken up but feeling accomplished that it was finally over. Maldor and Maya cast a small harmonic shield over Andrea's casket with the last of their powers to mask her body's harmonic signature that it was apparently still generating despite her being dead.

Maya and Maldor said to everyone "Get some rest, they shouldn't attack anymore now that Andrea's body is masked...we will explain in the morning after we recharge our energy and meditate properly". Paula said "How if the stars are gone?" and Maya said, "While Andrea and Jay could pull power from the stars far away, instantly, it takes us a few hours...there's a reason why they were the chosen ones and not us". Paula went upstairs to her room and she got no sleep; all she could picture when her eyes were closed was Andrea's lifeless body. She trembled in fear at the images of those dark figures, and at the memories of her and her bestie's fun times like she had for the past week but it was something about tonight that made her snap from fear to anger.

Instead of crying, she remembered everything that Andrea told her about her childhood and she realized Andrea would want her to be strong and that she could if she tried hard enough. As she walked down the stairs to Andrea's casket, she forced herself to stare at her lifeless body and it filled her with Anger, determination, and strength. As she walked back up to her room she saluted and said "I'll do it for you Bestie". She was enraged about everything she's lost because of the Anti gods and she was tired of sitting and doing nothing while they punked her into fear and sadness and she told herself, tomorrow this ends.
