Chapter 27: Pieces in Place

Andrea blushed before grabbing his hand and walking to the dimly light center of the backyard. Jay intertwined his hands with hers and said "follow my lead" as they shared a slow dance under the stars. While this was going on, Joanna and Andrea's mother watched with smiles on their faces because they had never seen Andrea in such a deep state of happiness and bliss before. Joanna turned to Julie and said, "he's the right one for her, no doubt about it...and I'm happy that after all that pain and suffering she went through, she finally gets the happy ending she deserves". Andrea's mother; Julie looks at her mother and says "well I couldn't have raised her without you and dad" and Joanna looks at her and says "you did raise her well without us, we were just there for support".

Meanwhile, Jay and Andrea were dancing and admiring the stars when he gave a thumbs up behind his back, signaling Paula who was the DJ to place the next mix". Andrea looked into jays eyes and said, "this is the most sweetest thing you've ever done...no one has ever made me feel the way you do sweetie and I know I've said it before and I'll say it again but I'm glad I get to spend the rest of my life with you...you always supported me and accepted me for who I am, flaws included and even when I messed up you still believed in me and gave me another chance".

Jay blushed and said, "I'll do anything for you because you are my strength, you are my motivation and happiness, Andrea, I love being able to just be myself with you, I love how every day with you is a new adventure just waiting and I can't wait to spend my life with you either". Andrea smiled and pulled him into a deep kiss as the family watched with smiles on their faces until they pulled apart and Andrea rested her head on jays shoulder as they continued to dance under the stars for a bit longer. After the party, the others offered to clean it up but Andrea smiled before snapping her fingers and sending all the mess away, as her and jay walked into the house holding hands with the happiest grins still plastered on their faces.

After entering their room, and changing into their pajamas, Andrea pushed jay onto the bed and pulled him into a series of deep passionate kisses until her mouth got dry and she went downstairs for water. By the time she came back upstairs, ready to do more, she found her poor giant had passed out and kissed his cheek, covered him up, and went across the hall to hang with Paula for a bit since she was rested. She wasn't even mad he fell asleep after all, he'd been through hell today with no rest...but what made her heart melt more is that he did it all for her without once asking for anything in return...and that's one of the main reasons she loved him so much. After talking and watching tv with Paula for a bit, she headed back into the room, cuddled up into jays arms, and fell asleep.

The next morning, Andrea woke up early and slipped out of bed quietly, and took her clothes to the bathroom so she could get dressed without waking jay up. After getting dressed, she headed downstairs, made breakfast, and put jay a plate away for when he woke up. She was soon joined by Maya Ariel and Maldor who asked where jay was and Andrea smiled and said: "he's sleeping, but I will be the one handling the easy parts...he's so exhausted and I just want him to rest today". Ariel smiled and said I do believe that us three is all we need to recreate the celestial temple right?". Maya and Maldor nodded and said "it'll be a bit more difficult but we can make it work...after all the child needs rest, I can sense his exhaustion". Maya smiled and said "are you ready Andrea?" And she smiled and said "of course, I am" before Maldor opened a portal to the celestial plain in this timeline.

As she stepped through the portal, they found themselves on the hill that overlooked the first city which was bustling with life and was completely uninfected. Maya smiled and said, "I forgot how much I've actually missed this place before the infection spread". Maldor said, "me too, anyways let's get this started". Maya said "Andrea me, you and Ariel will form the circuit while Maldor will instruct you through each step. Maldor said "close your eyes; they're no use to you anymore...now focus on your surroundings; the sky the weather, the geography...everything. Andrea did as instructed which caused a third eye made of purple energy to appear on her forehead and her body began to tremble".

Maya said "what's wrong my child?" and Andrea smiled and said, "I can feel everything...no I am everything...I can see it all". Maldor smiled and said "now focus on all of it and think about cloning it and let your powers take over the process. Maldor was about to tell her to release it until he smacked his head and opened a time portal to the blank future. Ariel and Maya stood on opposite sides of Andrea and began to channel and shunt the powers to her but it was going to take a lot of power. This meant that it would few more minutes of power buildup before her powers would initiate the process and the ground had already began to shake and Maldor began to fear that they would be discovered by their past selves. After several more minutes, the power built up and was directed through the portal as they continued to channel the energy for Andrea to use.
