Chapter 16: Heartfelt Reunions

Later that evening, Ariel went up to Andrea's room to try and form an apology for killing Jay but Andrea refused it. Instead, Andrea smiled and said, "I was angry at you but I never blamed you, you were possessed and it was Maya who was to blame for being too overly cocky". Ariel sighed and said, "Still I'm a god and I must train others an-". Before Ariel could speak Andrea shushed her and said: "if I've learned anything from Maya it's that gods can make mistakes...you're just like us in some ways but your society, responsibilities, and training tell you to suppress it". Ariel smiled and said" I guess so" and Andrea said, "I know so, just look at Maya...your leader". Ariel smiled as Andrea said," for right now, just let go, enjoy yourself, relax and be yourself with me...we're family".

Ariel hugged her tightly and said "You truly are different, my child...err Andrea" and she smiled and said, "I know, and so can you, just find yourself in that deep meditation". The next few days consisted of everyone except Andrea and the gods, relaxing, traveling, and just enjoying the alien planet. Andrea knew how to bring Jay back, but they were practicing because it would involve Andrea completely rearranging atoms in the universe to form jays body, and once false move with atoms will create an atomic explosion that could not only devastate the planet but wipe out half of the solar system with it. After another long day of training, all four of them decided that they had perfected their parts as best as they possibly could and now it was just a matter of waiting.

Andrea sat in her room pondering about things until Paula burst in with that cheeky grin on her face and said" Let's go out on the town for the day" and Andrea said, "Fine but no drinks until tomorrow night after we bring him home". Paula said "Agreed" as yanked Andrea out of the house into a replica of her car". They went bowling, then raced flying hovercars, which were also bumper cars and petted some alien creatures that closely resembled earth animals like the giraffe, goats, and seals, only they were green and had extra fins or antennae but they were still sweet. They even tried some weird alien sports and even went shopping and picked out some beautiful alien attire. At the end of the day, the family all met at a restaurant called "cybergrill" and they had robots that made anything you could want using matter synthesis.

After ordering their food and receiving it 2 minutes later, Paula raised her glass and said "I'd like to make a toast to Jay Rodriguez and his talented fiancée, Andrea Mendoza". Andrea smiled and they all drank and ate before heading home for the evening to prepare for tomorrow. Andrea was excited yet she ended up falling asleep that night and dreamed of being with him and holding him tomorrow. The next morning Andrea got up early and helped her mother with the morning routine of cooking and cleaning and she did it all with a sparkle in her eye and a smile on her face. After breakfast, she smiled and said "Oh boy it's time, well I'll see you later Mom...with him" as she headed into the backyard where the gods were waiting.

This time was different; as they all nodded and flew to some uninhabited grasslands outside the city and formed a half circle again, with Andrea in front of them. Andrea closed her eyes and began deep meditation as a third eye of purple energy appeared on her forehead. A few seconds later, the gods began to blast her with everything while at the same time, she was channeling energy from the stars. This continued until she rose into the sky and a purple tornado formed around her with her in the middle and it began pulling dirt, water, trees, sand, and grass into it. The next phase began when Andrea shot a beam toward the ground, causing it to crack a bit as she increased her power.

Meanwhile, in Andrea's mind, she was in deep meditation; focusing on nothing else but Jay's body and rearranging atoms carefully as her powers formed it. The next phase was the hardest but she was determined not to quit until it was done. She now used her third eye to observe Jay's lifeless body on the ground and she began to imagine it coming back to life until she could focus no more. Andrea drew power from a neighboring sun and that's when "boom" she was knocked out of meditation and thrown several hundred feet as a massive column of smoke rose; devastating the grasslands. Andrea was out of power for a few minutes until it suddenly came back and she heard a voice call her name...it was Jay's voice.
