Right by my locker, Johnathan and Steve came running to me, while Billy went out for a smoke he tried to catch what was going on. But missed it. "Did hell break loose?"

"They found him?"

"Who?" I was putting my books away in the locker.

"Your dad."

"Where?" I felt numb, this can't be happening.

"18 miles from here, the best thing of all, they caught him and taking him back to prison, his life sentence is more than ten years now."

I looked at them both when Johnathan grabbed me. Hugging me so I wouldn't fall. "What? Did Pipi or Hopper found him?"

"Hopper did, Pipi wished that he could be home right now... so about the party?" Then Billy walked in slowly, Kelsey was there talking to him but he wasn't listening.

"With the one that I was talking about small.... sure.. but no hug ass parties that you been having... you know people won't come to it because I'm there."

"Or they might." Johnathan said. "To take advantage of you... that's what I mean... but maybe not..." He looked at Steve. "Sorry man."

"No, no your right Johnathan, maybe it should be us.. I don't want to put my sister though hell again."

We all went to class it was the last hour of school, I was glad for it to be over with. You know how your body can be full of stress that your body is telling you something and you might by chance want to listen to it? Well my body did give me warnings today, I didn't faint, I just went to sleep. I guess I haven't been sleeping much. But I did try to stay awake as I walked out of class.

Billy, always waiting by his car with Kelsey waiting for Max. She thankfully did show up along with Linda another girl he gave a ride too. It was for the best that another person rides with them to keep them both safe and out of trouble. Rubbing my eyes as I got to the car Steve handed me a candy bar.

"I don't know how many times I have to say, eat something... I don't give a fuck what it is... but I do not want you to throw up in my car. So we are not leaving until you eat that."

I take the candy bar. "Yes dad." I teased him.

"So Barb can't go, so it will be the four of us." Rather or not Billy heard us, which I don't think he can. I took a small bite out of the bar. "What are you doing saving it. Come on sis please I'd let to get home before dark."

"Sorry, I think something is wrong."

"Like?"

"Like if I pass out in your car, just leave me there to sleep." After chewing the small piece up I took a bigger bite as we got into the car.

"Hell no, I remember when we were kids and your dad did that. Ugh, that fucking baster." He also got into the car and drove off. Nancy had left with Barb to go study for the day.

We left before Billy did, I didn't look at him nor glanced, even looked behind us as Steve drove off. I hope that you are happy Billy, I'll never trust you again.

At night, Billy drove off to go or do something, while Nancy and Steve were having fun. I took a swig out of a beer bottle, Johnathan had to work tonight cause one of his workers got sick, which is fine.. I drank by myself, which I never get drunk, eh maybe I don't want too. I left them to be on their own as I went up to my room. I heard a knock on my window, it was Billy.. Holding my beer as I went to the window. "No."

"Come on Mayflower, please."

"No, with all the shit you had pulled last night and this morning are unforgivable."

"I bought you a gift to say that I'm sorry."

A gift, for real... does he think that I'm that dumb to fall for.. Fine. I put the beer bottle down as I opened the window for him. "You got ten minutes to explain yourself and Billy it better be good."

He comes into my room with a smile. "I am sorry, truly." He noticed something. "I thought you were going to movies?"

"Can't, Johnathan had to work, so Steve and Nancy can have his room all to himself."

"And for you to party up here? Tisk tisk tisk."

"Billy." I warned.
