Coming out of her room is Billy and I'm overly pissed at him right now, he's cooking food for them.. What does this fucking asshole want with her anyways. We all get in a fight with him. Always hanging out with the wrong crowd. Ugh I hate this dude. He looks at me. "Before we both get into it, I wanted to say that I'm sorry. Last night should have never happened. I thought I got him away from her so she wouldn't get hurt."

"But yet in the end you always hurt her.. Look man I don't care if you are sorry or if you are lying. My sister.." I shake my head. "That girl up there has been through hell and back again. No matter how many times she stays up or doesn't eat. Nightmares or terrors that she has of those nasty monsters hurt her, she needs a light under that tunnel. And right now that isn't you. She nearly died. Lost a lot of blood, yet you weren't even there. Johnathan and I were. We always have to pick up your shitty pieces or your friends, to make sure that I don't find her dead the next morning." I was letting him have it. "If you really care for her in some type of way I'd start acting like it right now. Beg her if you have too. Cause if it was up to me right now. I would have asked you to leave. But since I'm not, my sister has a mind of her own. Do not repeat yourself Billy. Cause I think she's liking you even if you treat her like shit at times."

"You're right, she does have a mind of her own. I should have known better as well. I drank too much. And if I end up begging then, then so be it. I'm doing my best Steve. I do like her a lot. But I never had a person to care about me like she does and it's new. I'll never be perfect. But I do want to be there for when or if she needs me. I can never be you Steve nor do I want to. I want to be there like you and Johnathan are."

If he is seeing the light for real. Good for him, but if he is toying with her, I'll kill him before he can even say the word sorry. "Good. Because she is a wonderful person once you get to know her. She is my best friend and I will kill you if you break her heart again."

"Alright Harrington." He took the food and coffee to her room. I hope that she can see the light soon and that he doesn't break her heart.

I went back upstairs and heard him talk to her, she is handling it so well. I'm proud of you sis and that I love you for taking a step into something that is new for you as well with him. I went into my room to get ready for work. They were still talking so that is a plus. But that was a promise nothing more or less. I've seen the monsters that she has seen.
