It was party time and a while out of people were at my house. Most lights were on in every room. I did come out for a little bit. But then Billy and Tommy came along with girls . Billy looked me right in the eye. I didn't know what to take that as. Like a hi or haha what a loser. I stayed with Nancy and Steve until I didn't wanted to be down here anymore.

Billy must had follow me up stairs. "Leaving the party so soon?"

"Well I can't really leave since it's here."

"Hey you don't have to be rude."

I sighed as I rubbed my right eye. "I'm sorry. It's been a long and weird day for me." I took another step upstairs. And I can be rude if I want to be since that is what YOU DO sir!

I walked over to my room as I heard a girl calling out for Billy. "You better go to your girl." I faked a smile.

"She's not my girl. But yeah I guess I should."

Hours goes by as people jiggle my door and I said nothing. My door was blocked with chairs. I know how these kids are wanting sex so badly. The last part of the night I heard a knock. I ignored it. The knock out louder and louder then I heard a man saying.

"I know that you are in there."

It felt like it was my dad's voice but I had to clam myself down about that. It wasn't him. He kept knocking. "Come on Tory it's me, let me in." It was Billy. He wasn't drunk as the others were. "Tory? Now come on. I know that you are not in bed. Your light is on."

I head over to the door. "What do you want Billy?"

"I just wanted to talk."

"About what Billy?"

"I don't know, anything really."

Why don't he wanting to talk to his friends? If I let him. What if he force himself in and hurts me and Tommy is right behind him. Or what if he really does want to talk. Just to talk. Or lie and tease me about it. Or make up dumb shit.

"Is Tommy with you?" I got on the floor to peak around to see if there was another pair of feet.

"Nah.. that guy is doing his best to out do me."

He could be lying. So I got up moved the chairs. I quietly said. "I have to face my fears." I opened the door. If it was more than just Billy, good thing I have my window open. And it was just him. Remember he tries anything you know how to hurt him.

"About time." He walks into my room, with a beer in his hand. "Mind if I smoke in here?" I shook my head no. "Great." He didn't look drink or seemed to be drunk.

"So why are you in here all alone?"

I somewhat lied to him. "I hate people and they hate me. So why be down there?"

"Why did you agree to the party then."

"Because it's Steve's last year of hosting them." I want Steve to have a good time.

"Are you sure you and Steve aren't fucking... Or that Johnathan guy?"

"Get out."

"I'm joking Tory."

I crossed my arms as looked at him. "Billy why are you really in here? Is it so you can lie to your friends about you having your way or what?"

"No. I wanted to see how you were doing?"

"Oh and all of a sudden your nice and caring?"

He chuckles. "I can be."

I bet it's all fake, just to seem pleased that he could win me over. "Okay great. I'm fine, thanks for asking. You can leave."

Waving his hands. "Hold on, Mayflower. I just got here. I only want to talk."

I took three deep breaths, I heard froe crackers going off. I shut my eyes really tight. Holding myself tight then letting go. "Alright." I know I'm going to regret this later.

He sat down on one of my chairs. Taking a swig out of his beer. "I wanted to say that I'm sorry for upsetting you."

"For which times?"

"All of them. Listen I don't know what's going on with you and Steve. I don't know why Steve has to bring you to our meets or practice. But I know that I can be a jerk." He finished his beer. "I'm just trying to fit in."

"Why?"

"Why what?"

"Why do you want to fit in with those lamos anyways?"

"Like I said I wanted to fit in. And I'm sometimes just plain mean. Listen." He leans in. "I don't like it that you lied to me a bunch of times when I was over here yesterday. I know that you were talking about me. And your right I use my charm. So what is really going on?"

"With who?"

"With you and Steve."

Should I? Should I just fuck with him? Cause I have gut feeling that he's fucking with me. I want to ask him. 'why do you need to know so bad?' but instead I said. "What, you mean Tommy boy didn't tell you?"

"He told me."

"Then you know."

"But you jump every time I'm near you. Or you have a panic attack. Do I look like him or something?"

"No. It's not you Billy. I mean most of it is you with the bullying. But with the jumps... No.. Tommy might had told you a lie because his uncle lied to him over and over. I didn't blame him at the time... But since we gotten older... He just got meaner. I don't like starting fights or being in them. I'm-" I stopped my self, because he can use my words against me. That's what my father did. "forget it."

Billy was clam by me talking to him. His body language seemed to relax. "Then do I look like the person or the outline of the person?"

"No Billy. You don't. I get scared easily." Shit fuck damn. Well half the school knows that I do.

Billy nods his head. "You want to go for a ride?" As he stands up.

"I'm I don't know about that." I got uncomfortable.

"I swear it's just going to be me and you Mayflower."

My gut is saying no but I want to say yes. "No funny business."

"I promise."

Remember you have your mace on your keychain. I grabbed the house keys. Dear lord be with me.
