"Melody, you better not be sleeping!" I heard momma yell as I turned over in my bed.
"I'm not!" I yelled back, pulling my cover up over my head.
"Aye, momma, she still sleep." I heard my snitching ass brother say.
I pulled back the cover and turned over, seeing him in my room door. I glared at him and he just smirked, shutting my door as he walked downstairs.
"You got 10 minutes, Liana!" Momma yelled again and I groaned, getting up out of the bed.
I stumbled over to my bathroom, rubbing my eyes. I walked in and turned on the light. I did all my hygiene before taking off my bonnet and sighing at my hair.
Even with a bonnet it's still messed up.
I brushed out my hair, doing a side part before doing my edges. I left the bathroom and walked into my closet, going through my clothes.
I decided on a black two piece set with leggings and a cropped tank top. I paired it with my black and white 1's and a cropped letterman jacket.
"Lolo." I heard as Kayden knocked on my door.
"What's up?" I answered, putting on my outfit.
"Momma said you got five minutes. And you gotta take your breakfast to school." He told me.
"I'm about to come down. Tell her I'm not hungry though." I said and I didn't hear anything so I guess he walked away.
I finished getting ready and went to the bathroom again to put my makeup on. I finished and swiped on some lip gloss, putting it in my pocket.
I grabbed my bag and put my charger and phone and stuff in it. I slid on some jewelry before grabbing all my stuff. I left my room and went downstairs, going into the kitchen.
I walked in and saw my mom leaning against the counter as she smiled up at my dad. He kept kissing her face and she was trying to push him away.
"Move, Luka. I gotta go to work." Mom laughed, looking up at him.
My parents relationship was always something I looked up on. Sure, they didn't start out like how other normal couples do but they still showed their love for each other in many ways.
"We eat there." Kayden shook his head, making me laugh and push him.
"Shut up." I laughed, going into the fridge. "Also, momma, I gotta go into the studio today after school."
"Ok, have Kayden come pick you up since he has practice." She said and I nodded as I grabbed a water out of the fridge.
"Come on, Mel. I'm finna be leaving." Kayden said and I went over to my parents.
"Bye, momma. Bye, daddy." I gave them both a hug and they hugged me back.
"Bye, Lolo." They said and I walked out the door, going over to Kayden's car.
