Me and Mel had been at the concert venue all day, trying to rehearse before tonight. It was 2 right now and we got here at 9.
"I'm tired." Melody said as she slumped down on the couch in the lounge.
"You guys just finished your mic check right?" The stage manager asked as I sat down beside Mel.
"Mhm." We hummed, not really paying attention.
"Well, you guys are free until 7. Then, we need to start getting ready and in hair and makeup and all that." He told us and we nodded as he walked away.
Mel leaned back against the arm of the couch as I lifted up her legs and slid into that spot. I held my arm over her leg as I was scrolling on my phone.
"I'm finna take a nap. Wake me up when it's time to get ready." She said, tapping on her phone before she put it down.
I looked over and that girl was knocked out already. I chuckled and went back on my phone before it started ringing. It was a facetime from me and the boys groupchat.
I answered and saw Kayden and Jace pop up. Kayden was laying in the bed with someone's head peaking in from the bottom of the camera.
Jace was obviously with Diara and he had his head laying between her legs as she played with his hair.
"Why y'all both hugged up? City boys down 1000." I shook my head as they both mugged the camera.
"Turn your camera, Jax." Jace said and I rolled my eyes.
I flipped the camera super fast before flipping it back and they both busted out laughing.
"Not you hugged up with my sister." Kayden said and I shook my head.
"That girl sleep. But what y'all want?" I asked and they both sucked their teeth.
"Aye, Jax." Diara said, catching my attention.
"Wassup."
"Y'all gone be dancing at the concert? I know Mel dance at hers but I don't know if you do." She asked and I bit my lip.
See now me and Mel made the song so that it was slow at first but when the beat dropped that's when shit really started getting lit.
But the song was also a love song so there was gonna be dancing but it was background dancers and Mel was going to dance too
But the dancing was gonna be a bit...sensual.
"Um, yeah." I nodded, turning my head.
"Why you say it like that?" Brisa poked in Kayden's camera and he tried to push her head out the camera.
"Nah, I'm gonna hit y'all later." I laughed, leaving the facetime.
I scrolled on Instagram before I got bored and decided to hop off.
