"Why you so nervous?" I asked Jaxon as we waited in the chick fil a drive thru.

"I'm finna meet yo folks, Mel. Like your biological ones." He straight faced me as I pulled up a little bit.

"Ok? You already met my other momma and daddy." I shrugged, grabbing my wallet and getting my card out.

"On some real shit- you lucky you got two sets of parents." Jaxon said and I turned to look at him.

"Whatchu mean by that?"

"Exactly what I said. Not a lot of people get the chance to meet they real parents and have them in they life. Or even have a good adoptive family so you lucky you got both."

"Truth be told, I never thought I was gone be able to meet them." I mentioned and he scrunched his face up.

"Why you say that?"

"My momma and daddy never really talked about my biological parents. And now that I met them and been kicking it with them, I can tell they feeling some type of way but they ain't gone ever tell me that."

"Your momma just got used to having you around, Mel. She not used to sharing her daughter."

"I heard her telling my Tt's the other day that she feel like I don't need her no more and ima leave her for my other mom." I said and looked down at my lap, noticing I was next to pay.

"You still need her?"

"I need both of my mommas, Jaxon."

"So, let her know that. I know it's probably getting to you that she feel like that but y'all can't do nothing if you don't talk." He told me and I knew he was right.

"When you become a therapist?" I laughed, pulling up and rolling my window down.

I handed the lady my card as she swiped it on her little tablet.

"Someone will be right out with your food." She grinned and I just smiled and nodded.

She walked off and I turned to look at Jaxon, seeing him slouched back in his seat. He was just staring ahead and I smiled at how fucking fine this nigga was.

"What you staring at me for?" He mugged me, moving his arm behind his head.

"'Cause you so fucking fine, bae. Gimme a kiss." I said with a big smile.

I leaned over, grabbing his chin and pressed my lips to his. I bit his bottom lip before I pulled away, smiling at him.

"Witcho fine ass. Who told you to walk out the house looking like that?" I grinned, looking down at his lips that looked fuller after I kissed him.

"Shut the hell up." He waved me off, trying to hide his big smile.

"Hold on, cause it ain't no damn way." I mumbled, pulling out my phone and I started recording me and Jaxon.
