"Mel." I heard Kayden say at my door as I turned.
"Wassup?"
"You heard from Riri today? I tried calling her and she not answering my texts." He frowned and I furrowed my brows.
"No, I don't think so. Is she good?" I asked him and he rolled his eyes.
"I don't know." He answered before walking away.
"Everything good?" I heard Jaxon ask.
We was on facetime while I did my work and he was on the game. I was trying not to look at my phone because he was sitting in the camera with no shirt on and he was looking hella fine.
I tried turning off my phone but he said he wanted to see me in the camera. He know what the hell he doing.
"I don't know. It's not like Bri to not answer her phone." I frowned when I heard the front door shut. "Lemme hit you back."
"Alright." He said and I hung up and left the room.
I went downstairs quickly and saw momma hugging Bri. I walked closer and saw Bri crying, badly. Like shoulders shaking and all that shit.
"What happened?" I quickly asked as momma rubbed her back and look at me sympathetically.
"He fucking took everything." Bri said through her tears as I heard footsteps come rushing down the stairs.
I turned and saw Kayden look panicked before his face instantly changed to worry. He rushed over to Bri and pulled her into a different hug as she started crying more.
She hugged him back as momma turned to me. "You guys stay here and help her. I gotta go make a phone call."
I nodded and she went upstairs into her room as Kayden was hugging Brisa tightly. He was rubbing her back and whispering something to her as her crying was slowly getting better.
"Tell me what happened, Riri." Kayden said and we led her into the living room.
She took a few deep breaths and sat between me and Kayden as we stared at her. She fiddled with her nails as she kept wiping stray tears.
"So, I was sitting home alone and I was scrolling on my laptop, right? Then, I seen this ad for a chair at a shop and I really wanted it because I'm trying to save up money for me to get an apartment when I'm 18. So, I checked my bank account but weird, I have n-no money in my fucking account." She started stuttering as more tears fell.
"It's okay, BriBri." I reassured, rubbing her back as she sniffed and nodded.
"Um, anyways. I remember having quite a bit of money saved up so I called the bank. Turns out, t-there was withdrawals all throughout the week and m-my fucking sperm donor took everything. And then he skipped town like a little bitch." She finished and I instantly felt horrible.
