"Hey, momma." Jaxon smiled as he sat back on the couch.
"Hey, baby. You having fun?" She smiled back and Jaxon nodded.
"Yeah, when you and pops coming back?" He asked her.
"We gonna be back the day after Christmas so about the same day as yall." She answered and he nodded. "Where's Melody?"
Jaxon's mom thought Melody was one of the sweetest girls along with her family. They did nothing but make her sons feel welcome and that's all she could truly ask for.
"She's getting her hair done. I think she almost done." He told his mother.
"Jaxon, how I look?" Melody came out the hair room into the lounge and Jaxon's lips turned into a smile.
She had a bone straight wig on along with their matching outfits Alia had sent for the concert. He thought the orange looked good on her and smiled.
"You look good." He cheesed and Melody messed with the bracelets on her wrist.
"I'm glad they did the mic check already." She blew out a breath, coming to sit beside Jaxon.
Melody looked down at his phone and saw his mom was reading something on her phone. Her face lit up and she poked her head into the camera.
"Hey, bae." Melody smiled and his mom popped up.
"Oh, hey sweetie." She waved at her. "How are you?"
"I'm good. What about you bae? How are you and the kids?" Melody grinned.
"Those are my damn kids." Jaxon's father said behind the camera and Melody scoffed.
"No, they not. Tell him stink." She said to his mother and Jaxon just laughed.
Jaxon's father grabbed the phone and we heard his mom say something to him, throwing a brochure at his head.
"That's how I know she my wife. You ain't had to go through 15 years of this abuse." He mugged the camera and so did Melody.
"Yes I did. I was there when she was giving labor to our sons." Melody rolled her eyes.
"You only a few months older than me." Jaxon side-eyed her and she frowned at him.
"I still could've been there. You know my Tt is a nurse, what if she had me with her?" Melody shrugged before turning back to the phone.
"Now, listen random man. Ion play about my wife. I'm ready to spin the block for her." Melody fake threw her set up and he rolled his eyes.
Jaxon pursed his lips as he watched Melody and his dad go back and forth. He tried to hold in his laugh after Melody said 'spin the block' because it was kind of ironic.
