"What is in this box, Liana?" I asked her as we sat on facetime and I was in my room.
I woke up this morning to Melody giving me a kiss as she said she had to go. I only noticed a little bit later once I was finally up that she left a box and gift bag here for me.
When did she even bring those in? No idea.
"Open it, bae." She smiled, holding her phone with one hand as she drove.
"I swear if it's some weird shit..." I mumbled and she just laughed.
"Open the gift bag first." She told me and I eyed her in the camera before grabbing the gift bag.
I pulled out the tissue paper as I saw her eyeing me carefully with a big smile on her face. She was parked and laid back as she watched me.
I pulled out a jar and noticed it was full of all my favorite candy and I smiled.
"You gone give me a cavity." I joked and she laughed.
"Keep going." Melody told me and I raised my eyebrow.
I pulled out another small box and noticed it was two boxes that were tied together with ribbon.
I made a face as I untied the ribbon and took the first box, opening it and instantly smiling at what was inside.
It was a simple silver chain that had me and Melody's name on it and matched all my other chains but wasn't that big. Kind of like a necklace.
"Open the other box." She grinned, seeing my reaction from the first box.
I grabbed the other box and opened it, seeing a bracelet that matched the chain but only had Melody's name on it.
"I got one that matches." Melody said excitedly, putting her wrist in the camera and I saw her wearing a bracelet that had my name on it.
"You tryna stamp me, bae?" I asked her and she rolled her eyes while I laughed.
"Of course." She joked, pushing her glasses up on her face. "That was the main gifts you can open the other box now."
I fixed the bracelet on my wrist as I set the necklace up on my nightstand. Finna wear this shit 24/7 now.
I grabbed the box and opened it as I heard the front door shut downstairs along with some voices.
I pulled back the tissue paper in the box and saw some clothes and instantly smiled. She really been listening to me.
She got me some nike tech and new pairs of ethika boxers since she stay stealing mine and they been going missing.
