I ain't really feel like doing shit today to be honest.

But for some reason, Jace dragged me out of the bed and forced me to play basketball with him.

He drove us to that court that we found when we was driving around one time.

"Can we go home? Go train with yo team or sum." I mugged him, rubbing my face.

"Nah because all yo ass wanna do is lay in the bed and mope around." He rolled his eyes, throwing me the ball.

"Ion mope around." I retaliated, dribbling the ball a couple times before passing the ball back.

"So, what you been doing lately?" He raised a brow, about to pass it back but paused. I stayed quiet and he hummed and slowly nodded. "Right."

He passed the ball to me again and I started dribbling it. "Okay, well I just don't feel like doing shit. Nothing wrong with that."

"Ain't say it was." He shrugged and I threw the ball into the net, making it in.

We stayed quiet as he went to go get the ball and dribbled it while he walked back over to his spot.

"You gone talk to her?" He asked and I sucked my teeth.

"Can we not talk about that shit? I'm tired of thinking and talking about the same thing." I rolled my eyes, catching the ball as he passed it to me.

"Momma and everyone else might've let yo ass not talk about this but I don't give two shits. You sitting around all upset and in yo feelings and shit not helping nothing. You need to talk about it Jaxon because you ain't been acting yourself."

"How you want me to act? The girl I lo- had hella feelings for fucking played me. You want me to just walk around and act like shit cool?" I spat out. He was starting to piss me off with this shit.

"Nobody said all that Jaxon, chill. But it's hurting you more than it's helping you if you don't get the closure you need." Jace frowned and I groaned, throwing the ball back at him.

"Jace, I don't want to talk to her. Ima do that shit on my own time." I simply said, hoping that this conversation was officially over.

"Mkay but stop bottling shit up. Talk to momma if you don't wanna talk to nobody else. On some real shit, Jaxon because I actually care about you." He told me and I just nodded.

Usually, I wouldn't bottle shit up and I would talk to...Melody about it but that was out of the picture now.

Maybe I do need to talk to her.

"Ima take a minute." I told Jaxon, dropping the ball as it bounced towards him while I walked away to go sit in the car.

I got in and shut the door, leaning forward with my head in my hands.
