Tuesday May 10th. London, UK.
Seb peeks around the bedroom door to find Holly still fast asleep. It's nine AM and he's been up for two hours, having taken an hours run outside this morning while it was still relatively quiet and not many people were around to recognise him. He's slightly concerned about his girlfriend, she's done nothing but sleep ever since they arrived here from Miami, in the early hours of yesterday morning, and he's beginning to wonder if travelling to races with him is getting too much for her.
She'll be thirty weeks pregnant tomorrow, having entered her third trimester two weeks ago, and some of her early pregnancy symptoms have returned, such as fatigue.
Closing the bedroom door, he's heads back to the lounge and picks up his phone, deciding to order breakfast for them both. Knowing that she loves Costa or McDonald's, he downloads an app to his phone and orders a cheeky McDonald's breakfast - what Antti or Mark don't know won't hurt them, will it?
Just over half an hour and one shocked delivery driver later, he enters the bedroom again with two hot breakfasts, a tea and a coffee on a tray.
She's still out for the count, laying on her back, her dark hair framing her head on the pillow and her bump visible beneath the duvet. His beautiful sleeping angel. He softly calls to her as he approaches the bed, "wakey wakey sleepy head, breakfast is here."
It's not until he sits on the edge of the bed that she finally stirs and rubs her eyes before groaning and slowly turning her head to look his way.
Sweet, gorgeous Sebastian; he's such a beautiful sight to wake up to, smiling down at her, all unkempt curls and stunning blue eyes.
Then she notices the tray on his lap, "is that McDonald's?"
"Yeah, I bought it in the hope of tempting you out of your coma," he grins, "and I think it worked."
She slowly sits herself up, quietly muttering, "coma my arse," at the same time.
"Good morning beautiful," he manages to lean in enough to kiss her forehead and then rearranges himself so that he's sitting on the bed next to her.
"Did you sleep well?" she asks as he plonks the tray down between them.
"Not as well as you, obviously," he teases her, "thought I was going to have to resort to desperate measures to wake you."
She chooses to ignore his humour for now, her stomach has overruled her head and she picks up a hash brown, "I can't believe you went out to get breakfast, you know you'll probably end up on Twitter or something and Antti will find out."
He picks up a sausage and egg McMuffin and unwraps it, "no he won't, I had it delivered. The delivery guy was a bit shocked to see me though, said I looked a lot like that guy Vettel, I just said that I get that a lot, think he bought it."
"You downloaded the app and ordered it in?" she asked between mouthfuls.
He shrugs as though it's nothing new for him to do that, "yeah."
"But you're a bit of a techno-phobe," she teases.
"I wanted to treat to my beautiful girl to breakfast, figured we both deserved a treat after Sunday and Antti won't find out unless you tell him."
"Well, thank you," she smiles and briefly lays her head on his shoulder.
They eat in silence for a short while. She now feels so comfortable with Seb, as if they've been together forever. Even though he can be possessive and protective, he's one of the most kind, easy going guys she's ever met. He's a real nurturer at heart, a man who'd do almost anything for anyone and she really hopes she can get over one final hurdle to give him the life he truly deserves.
