I'm here now- RayEmma

We are here for you now

Its been a month since Emma has heard anything from the hospital about Isabella and she had started to worry that she wasn't making a recovery but kept reminding herself maybe she's making slow progress or no news means nothing new has happened. She sat talking to Don and Gilda when her phone rang so she excused herself, the other two stayed quiet as she answered. Don noticed Emma starting to tear up so went over to hug her. She hung up the call and burst into tears, freezing when she remembered Ray was out and may not know the news, she took a deep breath and collected herself before going downstairs just in time to see the front door open. She saw Ray and noticed he wasn't showing any emotion to being home so walked over to him, giving off a comforting smile to reassure him. 

"hey ray"

"hi" he immediately walked off and went to his room.emma heard a door slam slightly flinching, she sighed feeling guilty like she said something. Gilda walked over to Emma giving her a soft smile and gently held her hand ignoring the glare of "Don't" she was being sent by Don.

"don't blame yourself Emma, it's probably just found out himself. Despite the whole farm thing they were close and that his true mother biologically so it's going to be worse for him"

"I know it's just I want to be there for him but I don't know how when he shuts himself away"

Before gilda could speak Don spoke up "maybe just let him know you're there for him? I dint want to sound stalkerish but every now and then when older I noticed Isabella would leave Ray alone when he's in a mood and let him come to her"

"yea I guess that's my best bet, I'm going to go try check on him at least so he knows im not ignoring that he's upset" she quickly walked off and went to their shared room and tapped on the door waiting for a response, hearing quiet sobbing behind the door muttering a 'oh you poor thing' under her breath 

"Ray? Look I'm not going to keep pestering you babe but I want you to know that I'm here and you aren't alone okay?" 

She waited another few minutes knwoing ray was behind the door so didn't bother trying to open it. She heard slight movement and saw the door had opened a little bit so quickly walked in and shut it behind her. She saw Ray had sat himself on the bed so sat next to him.

"take your time and cry as much or be as angry as you want I'll be here"

Ray eventually calmed down enough, he rested his head against Emma's shoulder while she kept her arms around him comfortingly peppering his head and face with kisses at random intervals to try keep his mind busy not to distract from the situation but to help him get back to reality and not blame himself for anything he could. 

(A/N: Angsty chapter as I suddenly remembered that Isabella was in the hospital so wanted to do something with that. I'm thinking about starting to add small moments if spice so maybe age them up again as this stage they are 15. So let me know if you'd like to see that- Light)
