A week later

Rays leg had finally healed or was at least better abs would only have a few odd moments where it played up. He got up and went downstairs, feeling someone hug him from behind so turned his head to see Emma.

"Morning"

"Morning Ray!"

"Are you busy today?"

"No why?"

"No reason"

"Rayyyyy tell me"

"Tell you what?"

"Why you asked if I'm busy"

"You'll find out"

He chuckled when Emma huffed at him. She let go of him and smiled. He thanked her and walked off again not knowing she followed him. He grabbed some clothes and went to go shower, finally noticing Emma.

"Oh sorry I didn't know what you were doing! Sorry"

Ray smiled at her giving her a forehead kiss.

"Don't be, you can stay in my room while I shower. I can just shut the door"

Emma nodded and peacefully waited, pulling the sleeves of the hoodie she "borrowed" and smelling them. She was so zoned out she didn't notice Ray sneak up behind her and sit down, he gently wrapped his arms around her. She slightly jumped before realising who it was so smiled at him. The two stayed there for a while before Ray slowly got up.

"You ready to leave?"

"Oh sure!"

"We don't have to leave yet if you don't want to"

"Yea can we just stay here for a bit?"

"Sure we can"

She smiled at him nuzzling into the crook of his neck and just shut her eyes to rest, Ray kept his arms wrapped around her enjoying the silence between them. Emma wiggled slightly grabbing the tv remote and put a film on for the two of them to watch.

The film had finished and Ray got up to stretch his back, playfully pulling Emma to stand up before leading her outside. Refusing to answer her questions, he walked her to a hidden spot he found just in time for the two to watch the sun setting. Emma smiled as she watched it, leaning against Ray.

Once it was dark Emma smirked before jumping at Ray and wrapping her legs around his waist, he quickly caught her and smiled.

"Careful, warn me when you do that"

"It's more fun this way"

"Sure it is"

She giggled a little before cupping his face and kissing him. She pulled away from breath after a few minutes and smiled at him. The two stayed there for a while before Emma moved to stand again.

"Could we go inside?"

"Yea of course, I just wanted to show you this spot anyway"

"It's really nice"

"Mhm, now come on I can tell you're cold"

She nodded and raced off ahead, Ray followed her inside. On the way in, Emma went off to go talk with Gilda and Anna while Ray continued on to his room being stopped by Norman on the way.

"Ray? Can we talk?"
