Chapter 17
8:13am.
I was scrolling through my Instagram feeds and I double tapped at each post, not really caring what was on the post/quotes. Bright light peeked through the curtain border, and I should really be waking up now.
Except, I need to stalk my favourite babes and see if they have anything new to post.
Just as I type Andrea Denver down, my phone vibrated on my hold. I shrieked and the phone fell flat on my face. You had no idea how painful that felt like.
I quickly removed the phone from my face and saw how Flo's face appeared on the caller ID. I swiped to answer and held it next to my ear.
"Aye, why are you calling me so early in the morning?" I mumbled.
"Early? EARLY? It's freaking 8 in the morning you dumbo." She sighed, "Now, follow what I say."
I became pretty worried for her after what happened yesterday. She neither cried nor felt anything, but then again, this is Flo. The Flo I knew throughout my high school years.
"And what do I get if I do?" I asked.
"Banana milk tea with sago." I could hear the smirk on her face, "What do you say?"
I groaned and sat up. She really got me there, "At your service, princess."
"Great!" She cheered, "First thing is; to wake up from your bed and take a shower."
"Where are we going?"
"Shopping! Lot's and lot's of it."
"Oh man," I grumbled, "this better be worth it."
"Cool, so 9 o'clock train station?"
"Mkay, don't get too excited."
✈
I was wrong.
I was sitting down on the same stool for the past twenty minutes, staring at my reflection from a long mirror. Several piles of dresses mounted up next to me as Flo adjusted the dress in front of her. She twirled around, shimming here and there, and ask me, "What do you think?"
The emerald green eyes blinded my sight when I saw it. Yes, even though I dislike shopping, being a fashion police from my mother's trait was something you can't get rid off, "No. Put that away." I said sternly.
"But why? I think this dress looks nice." Flo whined. I guess she was annoyed too, seeming how I reject every dress that she offered.
"Nice is an understatement, dear Flo, now where's the next dress?" I carefully went through the pile of dresses as Flo sat down next to it. She sighed and dropped the dress on her lap.
