Fried banananas on the side --->
Chapter 11
I stood aside, nearby a hefty tree, gazing out on a particular building. It annoyed me that I knew what it was, but couldn't remember. I tried to move, but my legs seemed fine on the spot, so I gave up on trying.
A little girl with a black, bob hairstyle and white dress skipped out of the building. She seemed happy, and it sent chills down my spine.
That little girl was me.
Suddenly, a shadow appeared out of nowhere, took out a knife and slashed it across her left chest. She gasped, but didn't cry. The shadow eerily took out her bloody heart, and saw her chest together again. Then suddenly, a white portal appeared on the thin air and the shadow went through it, and disappeared. The little me began to skip along, out of my sight, as if nothing ever happened.
My eyelids snapped open.
I was heavily breathing in and out. The nightmare was pretty scary, but what message did I get? I'm clueless.
I stared onto the illuminated light that escaped from the blinds and I blinked. I'm pretty sure that it was around six thirty in the morning.
I would check my phone, but my dad confiscated it off me when I go to sleep. So it was on my study table next room.
I laid on the bed for around fifteen minutes and gazed at the little dots on the blue blinds. I was still dreaming, but wide awake.
When it was around seven o'clock, I sat up and rubbed my eyes. It was really bright, and I decided to actually wake up and take a shower.
We did plan to go out at nine thirty, which meant that I had two and a half hours to get ready.
I could hear slight shuffles from the kitchen, and I knew straight away that it was my mum. She would always wake up early, even for Saturdays.
I stood up and walked over to the window blinds, and pulled them apart. The bright morning welcomed me and I shielded my eyes from the sunlight.
I doubt it's six thirty.
"Heeeeey!" Arine yelled cheerily as she burst into my room. I cringed and turned around.
"You're awfully happy at six in the morning." I muttered.
"No actually, it's seven something." She replied to my rhetorical question.
"Seven?" I leaned on the bed and rolled across, so I could reach on the other side. I dashed past her and went straight to the toilet.
"That's some ninja moves," she commented, "by the way, isn't your little friend meet-up at nine thirty?"
"Yes, but it takes me time to get ready." I replied through the door. Damn it, I forgot my phone.
"Liar! You only take half an hour. What's the rush?"
"Um hello? Shower, prepped up, eat breakfast, clean and vacuum the house, feed the fish, play a bit of games and getting ready!" I listed dramatically, "You should know that by now."
"Yeah, yeah whatever, just don't take too long in the toilet."
About five minutes later, I flushed the remaining manuer and stepped out. The sweet smell of fried bananas swifted through the air. I went to the bathroom (which was right next to the toilet), and quickly brushed my teeth so it won't smell of morning breath. Satisfied, I skipped along towards the kitchen counter.
