Chapter 5

"Here you go girls, have fun trans-serving!" The librarian said. We took her offered badge and pinned it on our uniform. The blue badge said 'Student Runner', and if you didn't know what it is, well it means that two students will be the school's messenger for the day, receving and sending students and letters.

I liked the job, mainly because you get to jog one class to another. The con for this job was that I'd lose education for today's classes. Since Flo was here to be my partner, I just shrugged off the weight off my shoulder and held the map on one hand.

     "What's first?" I asked Flo.

"We better start locking all the toilets and gates," She replied and handed me a key with a small block hung to it, "and you can lock the toilets. I'll jog around the school and lock up the gates. I'll meet you in front of the library in five?"

I took the key off her and nodded, "Alright, see you."

We both ran to different directions as I went to the nearest toilet block I see. The lock for the toilet was pretty heavy, so it took time for me to lock it once. When I finished locking the girl's toilet, I moved on to the boy's. Just I was about to close the door, a voice stopped me.

     "Wait."

I left the door open and a tall figure came out. My breath hitched as I saw who it was.

"Thanks." He said and gave me a heart-stopping grin. I trailed my gaze to him until he was out of view. Oh my gosh, what just happened?

I quickly locked the toilet door and dashed to the junior school's toilet blocks. Flo would be so jelly of me when I tell her about this.

Five minutes later, I finished locking all the doors for the toilets. I went back to the front of the library and waited. Flo finally came minutes later, and I could tell that she was running around the school to lock up the gates.

"We gotta return these keys." I said once she relaxed a bit, "To the library yeah?"

"Okay," She said, "you go first. I need to take a few breaths."

"Why don't I take your keys along? I'll meet back here with some duties to do." I offered. She nodded and handed me the key. I patted her on the back and went inside the library. I leaned on the counter and handed the keys to the librarian.

"You girls done with this?" The librarian asked kindly.

"The toilets and the gates. All of them." I nodded affirmatively.

"Good. Go to the student service and ask the lady at the counter for your next task. She'd take you from there."

"Alright, thanks!" I said and went back out.

I saw Flo leaned against a brick wall and taking selfies on her phone. I don't find this surprising when she was alone. I would often photobomb her selfie and she wouldn't mind it at all. That's just us for a starter.

I took her wrist and started dragging her away when she poked her tongue out for another selfie, "No time for selfie, Flolo."

"Aye, that was a good selfie!" She groaned and stuffed her phone down her pocket, "And don't call me that."

"What? Flololololololololol." I said. I did a silly face and mimicked Spongebob's LOL face from a meme. She laughed along and hit me in the arm.

"Whatever human. Let's get out next task done."

We opened the student service's door majestically and entered inside with style. Others who were in there probably saw two retarded girls walking like a stuffed hyenas, judging by their looks.
