Chapter 2
It was by then period four, which was my English class. After recess, I felt like I wanted to know Ace better. He and I had so much things in common, that who knows? He might like noodles like I do. My teacher strolled in with her iPad tucked in to her arm and us students quickly sat on our spots properly.
"Afternoon tens!" She said and her voice boomed throughout the class.
"Afternoon!" We greeted back.
"Today, we have a new pupil who will be joining our class today." She looked outside the class and signaled someone with her hand to come forward, "Come on! We won't bite."
We turned our stares to the doorway when a tall boy with blonde hair came inside the classroom. He stood next to the teacher as she shoulder-hugged him.
"Your name is...?"
"Alexander. Alexander Quinton Miss." He said in a foreign accent, American perhaps? His hazel eyes flickered up to the classroom and I swore I heard someone squealed.
"Well Alexander, you can sit next to Hailey over there." She said and pointed to a girl on the second front row. I sighed in relieve as he took a seat next to a Filipino-American girl. If he got seated to a girl who would have a major fangirl about a-guy-who-is-super-duper-hot-and-he's-sitting-next-to-me, I'm going to pity him. I think the teacher knew about this too well, and made sure that Alexander won't suffocate through a blabber of animated talking.
I looked at him once in a while and observed him closely. He had a messy dirty blonde hair, and it seems like he was the gamer type, but a hot one. His hazel eyes flickered up whenever Hailey cracked up a joke to him, and his tan lips would tilt up into a smile.
Baby you light up my class like nobody else.
Exactly right.
My mind whirred with excitement and I couldn't stop the stupid smile on my face. Thanks to the school society, whenever I see a cute/hot guy, I would fangirl quietly and daydream throughout the day.
Alexander Quinton. Hmm.
The period ended and I packed my books away. As usual, I was one of the last one to come out and I sensed his and Hailey's presence in a few feet away.
"You sure you don't wanna chill with my friends and I?" Hailey asked. I kept my head down as I sorted my books in a neat order.
"Nah, I got a friend waiting down somewhere, but I'd like to hang out some time." Alexander replied. I heard a slight movement of someone's bag.
"Sweet! Well see ya later!" Hailey said and she dashed off the classroom, with him who trailed behind her. I finally finished packing up and pushed the chair in. I can't wait to spill the juice to Flo when I meet her.

"Flo! Flo come here." I yelled through the crowds. She immediately stood up from her eating spot and rushed towards where I stood.
"What?" She asked breathlessly.
I lowered my voice and looked around us, "You ever heard of this guy name Alexander Quinton?"
"Nope."
"I thought the hot guys gossip goes around faster than I thought." I said sarcastically, "Well, he's a new student in my English class."
"Second newbie already! Isn't this school full of surprises." She giggled, "So how's he like?"
"Tall, dirty blonde hair, hazel eyes, definition of an American student." I said.
