Chapter 11: Confession

Nadine's POV

"Ma, magpapaalam po sana ako sa inyo. Sasama po kasi sana ako kayna James sa isang vacation, sa beach house po nila James."

Nasa sala kami ngayon at nagpapaalam ako kay mama.

Totoo na pupunta ako sa beach house nila James, pero kaming dalawa lang talaga.

Di ko pwedeng sabihin kay mama na kaming dalawa lang ni James ang pupunta dun dahil paniguradong di niya ako papayagan.

"Kelan? Ilang araw kayo dun?"

Tanong ni mama habang nakatutok pa din sa tv kasi nanunood siya ng korea novela, di ko alam anong title.

Pero ampogi nung lalaki, cute ng mata, bilog.

"Ahh, 1 week ata ma. Di ko din po sure kung saan yung exact location eh. Cute nung mata niya!"

Biglang napatingin sakin si mama dahil sa sinabe ko.

"Ang cute kaya nung mata niya ma! Tingnan mo!"

Seryoso! Ang cute talaga.

Nilipat ni mama ang tingin niya sa tv pero agad din niyang ibinalik sakin.

"Magpaalam ka muna sa papa mo. Payag ako. Pero kung hindi siya pumayag, di pwede."

Sabe ni mama sabay nuod ulit sa tv.

Pinuntahan ko si papa sa may labas ng bahay, di ko alam kung anong ginagawa niya dun.

Paglabas ko nakita ko siyang naglilinis ng kulungan ng aso namin.

"Pa, magpapaalam po sana ako. Vacation daw po naming magkakaibigan. Sa beach house nila James. 1 week po."

Dirediretso kong pahayag kay papa.

Huminto siya saglit sa ginagawa niya at tumingin sakin.

"Kung pumayag ang ma--"

Bigla kong niyakap si papa sa sobrang tuwa.

"Thanks pa!"

At tumakbo agad ako papasok ng bahay at umakyat sa kwarto ko.

Agad kong kinuha ang cellphone ko at dinial ang number ni James.

"James! Okay na! Nakapag paalam na ako. We're leaving! As soon as possible sana."

Narinig ko ang pagbuntong hininga niya sa kabilang linya.

(Are you really sure about this? Do you really don't want to tell your parents about this?)

Bigla namang kumunot ang noo ko dahil sa sinabi ni James.

"Alam mo na ang sagot ko diyan James."

(Fine. We're leaving. Tommorow afternoon.)

Napangiti naman ako sa sinabe niya.

"Yeay! Thanks James! I love--"

Napahinto ako ng biglaan.

(What did you just say?)

Shet! Sasabihin ko bang I love you?!

Err!

"Sabe ko bye na! Kasi mag aayos pa ako ng gamit!"

*toot* *toot*

Binaba ko na agad ang tawag. Narinig ko pa ang pagtawa ni James sa kabilang linya.

Arrggggghhh.

Nakakainis yung daddy mo baby! Pagtawanan daw ba ako?!

James' POV

She called me and said that she already ask permission from her parents about that vacation thing.

She is about to say I love you and that made me giggle and smile.

She keeps on telling me that she is not yet ready to inform her parents about what is happening between the both of us.

But for me that is not the best thing to do.
I don't want to create a larger mess.

I want Nadine's parents to know about this as soon as possible but she keeps on answering me with the same words.

So I decided to make a move. I just did it for the both of us, it's for our own good.

*Flashback*

I think it's already 1 in the morning when I decided to go to Nadine's parent and talk with them.

I'm sure Nadine is already in deep sleep at this time.

I press the doorbell for two times and Nadine's mom opened the gate.

"Tita My, I'm so sorry for interrupting your sleep."

I said the moment she opened the gate.

"Okay lang hijo. Napadaan ka? Pasok ka muna."

We entered their house and sit at their terrace.

"Kuha muna kita ng maiinom."

She is about to stand up

"No thanks po tita My. But can I talk with you po and tito. Important matter po."

Even though she is confuse, she nodded and enter in their house to call tito.

I'm nervous and tensed, but I need to do this. I'm the guy.

"Oh? Madaling araw na hijo ah."

Tito said and I just smiled.

"First of all po, I'd like to say sorry."

I saw their eyes narrowed but they let me continue.

"I know, you should be the first person to know this. Remember last night, the after party of our premiere nights,"

They are seriously listening to me.

James just do this.

"And I'll just make the story short. At that night, someone ask me to do a favor, ang ihatid po si Nadine. Kaso po I don't know where your house is. So I decided to just let her sleep at my condo unit. As you know po, she is so drunk. And she keeps on saying something about someone named Bryan,"

"She even kiss me inside the car. And then, nung nakadating po kami in my condo unit, I bring her to my room so she can comfortably sleep. But she is still saying random things about this guy named Bryan. And I drink alone in my unit. So when we are both drunk,"

I look at Tita My's expression. Shocked, looks like she wanted to cry.

Tito, mad, confuse. But I need to be brave.
"something happened between the two of us. And the last time we went out together, I ask her to see a doctor. And the doctor confirmed, she is already 2 weeks pregnant."

Tita My burst out into tears. Tito comforting her.

"I'm so sorry tita, tito. I promise. I'll do everything for the both of them. Please do give me a chance to prove myself to you."

I'm almost crying. Tita my, she is also crying.

*End of Flashback*

After that confession scene with the two of them, Tito got mad ofcourse.

But later on, they thanked me because I told them the truth.

I even gave them our beach house's address so they can visit Nadine whenever they want.

They are still Nadine's parent.

I'm sorry Nadine for doing this, hope you'll understand me.
