Episode 28: Bizarre Bazaar

Returning from another archive, Hop-pop said, "Well, that was a waste of time." "Damn right. its so fucking annoying that we couldn't find anything in the archives about this music box." Pika groaned as they held the box that transported them to Amphibia "Wow." Sprig and Polly both uttered "So, you really think this is your key to getting home?" Sprig asked, "Yea, it got me here so logically it would bring me back home, and it's the only lead i have" Pika answered "I really am looking forward to finding someone who can help me figure this thing out." They added before opening and closing the box multiple times "Don't worry, Pika. We'll figure it out eventually." Hop-pop said trying to comfort Pika, he then stopped as quickly as he could as he saw a hoard of small creatures walking across the road "Hey, get outta the way, you... Whatever the heck you are." Hop-pop yelled at the critters, Sprig looked at where they were coming from and questioned "Oh hey. What's that?" Sprig hopped off and walked to where the critters were coming from "Man, these things are cute." Sprig pointed out. he then investigated the tree "Sprig! Oi! Don't put your hand in there." Pika yelled, "Whoa! Guys, look what I found. I think it's an entry ticket for the Bizarre Bazaar." Sprig said as he pulled out what looked like an egg "Huh? the bizarre bizarre? what's that" Pika questioned "The Bizarre Bazaar. I've never been, but I've heard stories. It's a mysterious night market that passes through once a year. Exotic foods, games, mysterious treasures." Sprig explained "Really? maybe we can find someone who knows about the box!" Pika said getting excited "Hold up! From what I've heard, that bazaar is full of greedy degenerates. Wave that thing around, and it'll get stolen for sure. Tell you what. I'll reach out to some frogs I know and see if they know a thing about your music chest." Hop-pop said not wanting Pika to go "it's a box." Pika corrected "That, too."  Hop-pop replied, Pika sighed and gave up "fine... i wont go" they said, by coincidence the critters finished crossing "Finally. Let's go. Hyah! Hyah!" Hop-pop said as he started to drive again. After a moment of silence, Sprig broke the silence with a whisper."We're going to the Bizarre Bazaar tonight, aren't we?" "Yep, " Pika whispered back

That night:

That night, Pika and Sprig snuck out of the house while everyone else was asleep. "Haha! Bizarre Bazaar, here we come!" Pika laughed as they held the music box and put it into their backpack."Now where to?" Pika asked."I don't know." Sprig said honestly, Sprig pulled out the egg."I think the egg is supposed to show us." He said before dropping the egg, "whoops" Sprig uttered  "Dude!" Pika groaned, but then a purple critter appeared from the egg and ran."After it!" Pika yelled, Sprig and Pika ran after the critter, they lost it for a second :Fuck! we lost it!" Pika groaned but Sprig found it "There it goes!" he said, they both chased the critter until it crawled into a hole "Fuck! we were so close!" Pika complained but then a mushroom lit up, that caught both of their attentions, then more lit up as it led the 2 to the Bizarre Bazaar "holy shit..." Pika uttered amazed as they entered the Bizarre Bazaar, they walked around for a minute as Pika put their headphones on because of how loud it was "Damn, Hop Pop was right. This place is intense." Pika said as they stepped over someone who could be dead, they then bumped into a frog taller then them "Hey, watch it, string bean." The frog yelled "Oh, sorry." Pika apologised, they then noticed a stand that stood out to them "Sprig look!" Pika said before running up to the stand and seeing a bunch of jewellery and things with gems in it and markings of a frog like the music box "Check it out. Those look like the markings on the music box." Pika pointed out, "Suspiciously so." Sprig said suspicious about the vendor "hey, where is the vendor?" Pika asked, they then noticed a sign saying 'Out to lunch' Pika groaned "Seriously!? fuuuuck" "Hey, hey. It's fine. They'll be back. and in the meantime, might as well check out the rest of the bazaar." Sprig said before chasing some food "okay, but we gotta be back here soon, this is a once in a year chance" Pika said, "Two, please" Sprig said ordering what looked like  steamed baos "Ooh! Hot, hot." he then said as he burnt his hands on the hot 'baos' he then handed one to Pika "Thanks dude, this might be good" Pika said before seeing what is in it "never mind, i got my own food" They said as they threw the bao behind them, Sprig got more food and ate it, Sprig and Pika then played Poker with 2 frogs "Yes! I win! Now I can buy my house back. Hooray!" one of the frogs cheered, unbeknownst that he got pickpocketed, Sprig then tried to stay on a large beetle, Pika just watched Sprig get tossed off the beetle,
