Episode 33: Reunion

Three months earlier, back on Earth!:

Pika was bored in class, which was psychology. they were watching an episode of a reality tv show that has multiple people with mental illnesses, "who has a mental illness? Hm...." they thought, trying to guess who has a mental illness and which one they have, they guessed, and when they revealed who has what they thought, "and I am wrong..." Then the bell rang, and they left to put their stuff away and meet up with Cy, Em, and a few other friends. "Heyyo! ready to watch the next episode of Demon Slayer?" They asked Em as they pulled out their laptop and logged on. "Yeah!" Em replied, Pika opened up Chrome and entered an anime website and found the entertainment district dub episode they were up to. "Found it." they then pressed play and watched it until the bell went to signal the end of recess 1, they had health next which they learnt about mental health but also fucked around by playing FNAF pizza sim "Shit. got killed again..." they muttered, unphased, as their friend Nd watched and slightly jumped as Pika got jump-scared ."Pika, that scared me. School's boring let's fast forward to after:

Pika, Cy, and Em were walking to the shopping centre nearby when Pika got an idea, "Hey guys, wanna ride shopping carts?" they asked, Em and Cy both agreed, and Pika grabbed 3 shopping carts, "Let's race in them!" Em suggested, "Fuck yeah!" Pika replied, "Let's do it!" Cy replied as well, they all pulled their shopping carts up a hill in the park next to the shopping centre and lined up "Ok, we go on 3. 1... 2.... 3... Go!" Pika yelled as they all pushed tier cat and rode them, in the end Cy came in first, Pika in second and Em in last place "Woohoo!... that was fun!" Pika cheered "Yeah! that was fun!" Cy agreed, Pika and Em both laid on the ground and Cy sat on a nearby bench and they all looked into the sky

Back to the present:

Toads jumped and interrupted the FOTY party that was salvaged, Pika saw toads running into town and with their previous experience with toads, they were cautious "talk later. Gotta fight these toads, again." Pika told Cy but he stopped Pika "Chill dude. They're with me, " Cy told them as he pulled them back. "Woah- very close. Also, what?" Pika questioned. "Pika, Pika, Pika, Pika, Pika, Pika!" Sprig yelled as he, Hop-pop and Polly, ran up to them. "Toads! They're everywhere. We barely slipped out while the guards were -" Sprig began telling Pika panicked but got interrupted. "Holy toot, another Pika!" Polly pointed out as she pointed to Cy. "Oh yeah, this behind me is - Quit looking creepy. this is Cy, a friend from back home" Pika introduced Cy "hey" Cy greeted "and Cy, meet the Plantars, we got the old man, Hop-pop" Pika began introducing the Plantars "eh" was all Hop-pop uttered when Pika introduced him "the young frog, Sprig" Pika continued "Hey, hey" Sprig greeted "And the chaotic pollywog Polly" Pika concluded "'Sup" Polly uttered "Hey, I'm their friend too. I guess that makes me your friend-in-law." Sprig told Cy. He then chuckled. "Does it? does it really?" Cy deadpanned, Sprig's smile dropped, and he laughed awkwardly and coughed. "Did y'all feel that?" he asked before coughing some more as Hop-pop walked up and guided the boy whilst telling him, "Walk it off, boy." he then turned his attention to Cy. "Yes, hi, nice to meet ya. Now, can someone please tell me why there's a toad army invading Wartwood?" Hop-pop asked, getting right to the point. "Huh, I thought you'd be taller in person..." Cy muttered. "Huh?" Hop-pop uttered. "Chill, we're not invading anything." Cy said, assuring the frogs. "Come on, Pika. You too, frogs. We don't want to keep Grime waiting." Cy said as he walked past hitting Hop-pop in the back of the head. "Captain Grime?" Hop-pop asked, surprised, "The cruellest toad soldier of all time?" Sprig added. "Here?" Polly added "Once you get to know the toad, he isn't as bad as you say he is, now lets go farmers" Cy told them all before walking off "welp we gotta go, if captain Grime is as bad as y'all say he is, he wouldn't like to wait" Pika told the Plantars before running up to Cy
