Travelling to new lands

Special Episode 2

Pika's POV:

I chilled in my room bored, Hop-pop then barges his head into my room to tell me something "Hey Pika, mind keeping an eye on Wartwood today? It's below frog level" Hop-pop requested "Uh sure, I will be bored for the day since I'm the only one who won't freeze..." I accepted. Soon a knock could be heard at the front door "I'll get it" I yelled, when I opened the door I saw someone I was not expecting to see at all "What's up- Em?!" I said as I saw Em standing at my door "Hey Pika!" Em waved excitedly "Get in. It's too cold to be outside in that fit!" I said worried as I moved out of the doorway to let Em in, when Em got inside I lead her to my room "I got an oversized hoodie that might fit you and some gloves that have fingers, please put them on" I said as I pulled out a purple hoodie and some gloves "Thanks, what's happening today?" Em asked "I was informed not that long ago that the Wartwood residents will freeze over. And since I'm human I'll have to make sure that no one goes missing/gets kidnapped. I was going to be bored but now you're here. We can have fun!" I explained

Hours later:

Snow covered the ground in Wartwood as Em and I played in the snow "Oh hey, here's Wally!" I yelled as I found Wally under a pile of snow, I pulled out the blue frog as Em got up and walked up next to me "What do you want to do with him?" I asked, "Let's throw him" Em suggested "Sure, you can throw him, I'll get some drinks for us, make sure to keep an eye on the villagers." I asked. when Em nodded I started to walk back to the house but I ran back when I remembered to ask her something "Just remembered, what drink do you want? I have Pepsi Max, I can make tea or hot chocolate, or I could make whatever drink hop-pop has in his recipe book" I listed the possible drinks, "HOT CHOCOLATE" Em answered, "Righty do! I'll make one right up!" I say before running to the house to make the drinks

Few minutes later:

I got back to Em, "Here you go! A cup of hot chocolate" I say as I hand her the cup, we both drink our respective drinks enjoying the snow, "Say, when it warms up, wanna introduce these frogs to fireworks and sparklers?" I asked Em as I stare into the town where all the residents are frozen, Em nods "Cool" I reply, we then both start talking about other things to pass the day

Hours later:

"Hm? Oh it seems like the snow is melting. Not long till the frogs unfreeze" I point out, soon the residents of Wartwood all unfroze. "Hey guys, how was being frozen?" I asked when the Planters walked up to Em and I "Not bad, not good either, we literally couldn't do anything" Hop-pop answered "Oh ok" I replied, I get up and walk back to the Planter house with both cups to wash them. "Hey Em, did you bring anything from Newtopia? My phone is telling me that a celebration is coming up, and I heard these frogs haven't seen fireworks or sparklers, I can get the fireworks" I asked as I walked back to Em after cleaning the cups "yea, I know, I have the sparklers here. The King claimed he hasn't seen them either" Em answered "Really? That's surprising. Anyways let's get everything together for the celebration, it seems that it's in 3 days" I point out

3 days later (at night!):

"Alright! Got the fireworks ready! I still have some... I'll make some firework guns for Em and I" I mutter as I set up the fireworks "Got the townfolks all together, they seem excited for this even though they don't know what will happen" Em said as she walked towards me "Cool, I got a bit more than needed so I'm just making these minor fireworks guns that wrap around our arms, they shoot minor fireworks kinda like those stream fireworks. Oh yea I know you hate loud noises so these shouldn't be too loud. But wear headphones in case" I explain. I then place one of the minor firework guns on her arm "is it too heavy? Is it comfortable?" I ask making sure that it is good enough "a bit heavy but not too much. And maybe add some padding so it feels comfortable and doesn't burn our skin" Em answered "Ok, I'll add the padding, you can check up on the frogs and hand them some sparklers, make sure none of them gets burnt" I say as I take the firework gun back to modify it "oh yea, here's a lighter for the sparklers" I add as I hand her a lighter I stole, Em leaves to check in with the townsfolk before the show begins
