𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐝.

𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧

"Henry?!" Holly choked, looking up at the 6 foot blonde boy that stood in front of her. He turned to Holly, cupping her face in his hands. "Are you okay?!" Henry frenzied as Taylor scoffed, rolling her eyes. The excitement that emitted from the large crowd of rowdy students died down, as did the severity of the conflict. 

Toby rushed over to Holly, seeing tears in her eyes. He attempted to console her, but Henry had other plans. "I've got her. You go finish whatever it is you were doing, and I'll walk with her to class. She shouldn't be alone right now." Toby nodded before scurrying off to the canteen yet again. 

Henry's hand trailed down to her lower back as he guided her towards her first class. He opened the door for her as he followed behind her as she walked into class. Holly kept her head down as she made her way towards her seat, sitting down besides Henry. A few minutes later, Taylor walked in, shooting Holly an unforgiving look. Henry's hand made its way to hers under the table, slightly caressing it with his thumb. This comforted Holly.  She didn't know what it was, but she felt untouchable around him. She felt guarded. She opened her hand, welcoming Henry's. The two looked at each other, sharing an almost indecipherable look. She started to feel a slight tingle in her heart. 

During class, Henry decided he was going to get to the bottom of the situation. He passed Holly a note.

"So.. do you plan on telling me why Taylor tried to fight you this morning? Or are we just going to ignore it?"

Henry's interest in the situation was unsurprising to Holly, but nevertheless still caught her off guard. She couldn't bring herself to tell Henry that Taylor had now publicised her hatred for the boys, and that she hated the fact that Holly even breathed around them. She decided to distract him. She wrote back.

"I'll tell you later, I just don't want to think about what happened right now. Plus, I need to get this work finished before recess."

Holly slid the note back to him. "That should keep him at bay for at least a few hours." She pondered to herself. 

Their hands were still intertwined when the siren sounded. They quickly let go as to not further any rumours people speculated, and tidied up their things before walking out of class. The duo met up with a very cheerful Toby. "What's got you in such a good mood, huh?" Holly questioned quizzically. Toby looked at her. "I was just first in line at the canteen and I got myself some chocolate milk and some dino nuggets!" He boasted, carelessly shoving a nugget into his mouth.  Holly had a jokingly disgusted expression on her face. "Ew, Toby that's absolutely rancid!" She laughed. "Why can't you just eat like a normal human being?" Toby laughed along with her before ditching one of his many nuggets at her head. "Suck it, bitch." He joked, taking a big swig of his chocolate milk. 

Holly laughed, sitting herself down on the blue benches behind her as Toby continued to embarrassingly display his eccentricities. 

Not long after, a bulky, blonde haired boy ran past them, screaming. The trio glanced at each other, as if to say "what the fuck is that?". Within a few seconds, a certain raven haired girl also ran past yelling out to the boy. "Get the fuck back here Deklan before I shove my foot so far up your ass is comes out your fucking mouth!" Tianah laughed maniacally. Holly called out to her. "Yo, Tianah, what the fuck are you doing?" Holly's green eyed friend walked over to her, trying to calm herself down. "Nothing, it's just Deklan fucking stole my phone and won't stop taking stupid fucking photos the dumb fuck." Holly looked at her, dazed and confused. "I love you, but you really do worry me sometimes." 

Tianah looked back at her before running after Deklan again. "I know, I love you too." 

Holly turned back to the boys, who had the same expression as her. "God, they bicker like an old married couple." Toby remarked, suspiciously eyeing the blonde boy and raven haired girl pull the piss out of each other. "Omg I totally ship!" Holly cackled, putting her hands up so they resembled a love heart. Toby rolled his eyes before turning his attention back to his snack.  Henry looked to Holly again, smiling slightly. 

~ time skip to last period ~

Last period was the only class of the day she didn't have with either Toby or Henry, so on this particular day her anxiety was heightened. She was sitting in her chair, fiddling with her pen as her teacher lectured the class when her phone buzzed. She sneakily grabbed her phone, checking her notifications. It was Tianah. "The fuck does this bitch want?" Holly thought. The sarcastic comment made her smile to herself. 

T: "Hey, I heard about what happened with you and Taylor today... Are you okay?"

Holly stared at the message for a second, unsure of what to say. 

H: "Yeah, i guess.."

T: "Do you wanna call after school and talk about it?"

H: "Yeah, sure. I'd like that."
