Around 30 minutes or so later the three teenagers arrived back at Holly's house. The boys made their way into the living room, whereas Holly went into the kitchen to grab snacks and a few drinks for her friends. On her way back in, she took a look at the boys. They were smiling and laughing. Their smiles were exuding pure happiness. Pure content. She didn't know why, but this time around, something felt different. Something had changed. Was it the group's dynamic? Or was something shifting within Holly? She did her best to shaker that feeling aside as she made her way back into the living room the greet the boys. They looked to her with wide eyes, both of them smiling a little wider as the shifted themselves further in their seats so that they could take a proper look at what she had set out on the coffee table.

"Dinner is served m'lords" Holly announced poshly as she gestured towards the food that lay in front of them. Toby eyed it hungrily, but then again when didn't he? Henry looked intrigued as well. The boys started digging whilst Holly just stood there, smiling slightly. A small hue of crimson crept its way into her expression, and Toby took notice of this. "What's got you so shy all of a sudden, hmm?" He questioned, looking at her quizzically. Holly shook her head. "Oh, nothing, just thinking." She responded, shooting the boys a smile. They looked at her in confusion. "About what?" The boys said, almost in unison. "Nothing important, don't worry." Holly was thinking many things at this moment, and in all honesty she wasn't ready to unpack it all yet. Not even with herself.

She quickly dismissed that line of conversation and changed it to one that wouldn't make her feel existential. "How fucking sick was that concert, huh?" Holly exclaimed, taking can of coke and opening it before waking towards the couch. Henry and Toby looked at each other for a second before responding. He didn't say anything, but Toby could tell there was something Holly wasn't telling them, however he knew not to pry.

"It was fucking sick as bro!" Henry regarded with excitement. "Legit bro, that shit was top tier!" Toby then added. The three teens reminisced events from earlier that night as they pigged out in the living room. They laughed so hard their faces started to hurt. It was a perfect night.

"You know, if you'd told me a few months ago that I'd be here right now, with you guys, I would not have believed you." Holly spoke, shifting the mood slightly. A single tear managed to escape her tear ducts and stain her porcelain skin. Toby and Henry looked at her with worry. "Why are you crying?" Toby fussed, a frown appearing on his face. Holly's melancholy expression quickly changed as she shot the boy a genuine smile. "I'm okay, I'm fine. I'm just so happy to have you guys back." She confessed. Her reasoning behind the singular, yet worrisome tear soothed the boys greatly, and they both requited her smile.

Toby was the one to break the silence. "You know what this is missing?" He questioned, inflicting confusion on his friends. "Some good old music!" He exclaimed, getting up and walking over to his bag. He grabbed out a small bluetooth speaker and turned to the two blondes. He made quick work of connecting his phone t the speaker and the first song he chose immediately caught Holly's attention.

"NO FUCKING WAY!!" She yelled, getting up after the first few beats. Toby shot her a look as she ran over to grab the cowboy hat she'd stolen from Toby that was sitting on the couch. She placed it atop her head and started to dance idiotically.

She's bringing back cheating songs

The kinda hurt that gets you singing along

Something circa 1973

She's lying with him...

"AND SHE'S  LYING TO ME!!!"

Holly screamed the lyrics to Midland's 'Cheating Songs' as she twirled around the living room. Toby stood there, masking his look of adoration with comedy. "You sound like a cat with like fucking throat cancer or something." He mocked, a hearty laugh escaping his mouth. "Oh shut up, you're just jealous that you can't sing or dance little miss 3 in 1!" Holly laughed, disregarding Toy's teasing. "I can dance." Toby spoke, desperate to defend himself. Holly went still for as moment before turning back to face him. "Prove it then." She giggled, a tinge of mischief in her voice.

He looked at her, his eyes going all serious. "Alright then." Toby spoke flatly as he walked up to her. He placed one hand on her waist and allowed the other intertwine with one of her hands with his as he began to twirl around with her.

Steel guitars are back in style..

Like tears falling o'er her smile.
