A very teary Holly lead the boys to the scene. Tianah was still on top of Taylor, and she showed no signs of stopping. Toby looked to the two. "Oh my gosh!" He gasped. "We got ourselves a motherfucking cat fight!" He boasted, running over to join the onlooking crowd. Holly rolled her eyes and turned to Henry. She explained to him the dire situation she was in. "Please help me, Hen." Henry looked at the girl. He wanted so badly to help her, but he didn't want to make things worse.
"And how do you suppose I do that?" He questioned suspiciously as he crossed his arms. Holly looked up at him. "I don't know. Intimidate them or something. Make them move out of the way." She begged. Henry looked around to see if any of the teachers were around, but he didn't see any. He rolled up his flannel sleeves and walked up to the group of bystanders. "Alright fucktards move out of the way, show's over." He announced, pushing through the crowd of people with Holly following behind him. Holly ran over to Tianah, and pulled her off Taylor, who just continued to lay on the ground.
Taylor had blood dripping down her face, and her eye looked messed up. She had bruises everywhere that showed skin and her hair was all matted and grassy. Not that she looked anything different than usual, she always looked like a mentally deranged tampon, except this time she was covered in blood.
The crowd's cheers died down, and Tianah turned to face Holly. "Thanks for that, but I think that was a little bit too far." Holly commented, a small smile forming across her face. It seemed both sincere and insincere at the same time. "You okay though?" Holly fussed. Even though she was annoyed, she still cared about Tianah's wellbeing. Tianah flashed the girl a smile. "Yeah, I'm fine. If anything, you should be asking Taylor that question." She laughed manically as she pointed to the girl who was now sitting up on the grass.
Holly shook her head. "That's not funny, Tianah. That's not okay." One of the boys in the front row of the crowd yelled something to Holly. "Oh come on, bruh! Allow it! That was so fucking alpha of her and we both know it!" He laughed. It was a boy named Mohammed. He was seen as somewhat of a comedic figure in the year group Holly scoffed at the boy before turning her attention back to Tianah. "Thanks, though. I don't know a lot of people that would have done something like that for me." She confessed, flashing her friend a genuine smile this time.
Tianah let out a slight chuckle. "Cringe." After her satiric comment a moment of silence came. Holly's face dropped for a second before Tianah cleared the air. "Nah for real, it's all good. I'd gladly do it again." She smiled, pulling Holly into a hug. As the two girls parted from the embrace, Holly replied. "I love the sentiment, but if you ever do that again to that extent, I'll be pissed." Tianah nodded as if to say 'fair enough'.
Holly and Tianah's exchange was interrupted by Emily. She walked over to the girls with a phone in her hand. "It's giving paparazzi!" Emily laughed as she handed over the device to her best friend. Holly and Emily flashed a smile at one another. Holly then noticed Henry who was just conversing with a few of the boys in their year, and she decided to walk up to them. She greeted them warmly, but after a few minuted asked to speak to Henry alone.
The two of them walked off until they were in a relatively secluded area. "If I'm honest, Taylor mentioned something that didn't make that much sense." Henry looked at her, confused. "And what is that?" He queried. "She said that you went up to her, and you were like accusing her of hitting me or some shit. It doesn't make sense. You told me that you were going to the canteen with Jaxen and Toby."
Henry was taken aback by her observation, as he hadn't really thought much about the whole situation being found out by Holly. "I did go to the canteen, but I went on my own. I said I was going with the boys because I just wanted to figure out what happened to you." He sighed, a melancholy look on his face.
Holly sighed. The two hadn't noticed that Ryan was lurking somewhere near, eavesdropping on their conversation. Holly looked at Henry, a look of pity in her eyes. "Look, I'll tell you, but you are going to be really mad at me." She spoke, revealing her intentions to confess. Obviously Ryan heard this, and he tried his best to stop it from coming out. Just as Holly was about to tell Henry the truth, he popped out and aquainted himself with the two of them. "Hey, guys!" He greeted with a fabricated smile.
Henry and Holly looked at him, both having different reactions. Holly greeted Ryan warmly, whereas Henry sort of just stood there in silence. Holly nudged him, so he muttered a very faint 'hey'.
Ryan needed to find an excuse to get Holly away from Henry so he could stop her from blabbing. "I'm so sorry to interrupt, I didn't realise this was a private conversation. I can go until you're done?" He offered slyly. "Nooo! You're fine!" Holly reassured, smiling at the boy. Henry wasn't publicly opinionated on the subject, but you could tell that he was displeased wth Ryan's presence.
"I just came and found you guys because I heard that one of the girls is looking for Holly." Holly looked at the two boys. "Oh, thanks!" Holly spoke her farewells before walking off into the distance. In her wake, Ryan attempted to make conversation with Henry, but he was met with silence.
