After 12 fun, yet tiresome hours of driving, Toby and Holly finally arrived at the station. It was a very big area, with grass that could be seen for miles. The house itself was very cute. It was a one story home, with white panelled outsides. The deck was around mid size, and it was a dark sepia colour. Windows decorated the perimeter of the home, and a red brick chimney lay upon the silver, tin roof.
Holly undid her seatbelt and breathed in deeply as the fresh, country air enveloped her. It was so much clearer than the city. Though she would never tell Toby that; she had a bet to win. She took her shoes off as she walked up to the house, the crisp, green grass comforting her feet. She felt grounded. Toby trailed behind her as he had offered to take their things into the home. He rested them against the deck's railing as he unlocked the door, allowing them entry. Toby insisted that Holly go in first. Toby put their luggage down in the living room as he gave Holly a tour of the house. Even though Toby was tired, he didn't let that affect his mood. He was just happy Holly was there.
As he showed her to the bathroom, he made a joke. "Here's the toilet." he introduced as he opened the door. "Just in case you cry so hard you shit yourself like you did at Henry's after the sleep out!" He laughed, looking to Holly who had a disapproving look on her face. He noticed her dismay and punched her shoulder lightly. "It's a joke!" He defended, hoping he hadn't gone too far. Within seconds, Holly's expression changed completely. She looked up at the tall, brunette boy who stood beside her and just smiled a teeth grin. "You really think I'm that sensitive? Well, think again, bitchboy!" She teased, laughing maniacally.
Toby rolled his eyes, scoffing lightly before acquainting her with the rest of the house. Once he finished, Toby took his bags and went into the room he was staying in to unpack. Holly had her own designated room, and for some reason that disappointed her. For some reason unbeknownst to her, she wanted to share a room with him. She quickly shook the feeling and decided she was going to do the same. She went back into the living room before dragging her suitcase into her room and placing it on her bed.
Not long after, Toby walked in. She greeted him happily. She noticed he had one hand behind his back, however she chose to ignore it as that's just how he stood sometimes. He greeted her back and asked her how she was settling in. "Oh, I'm fine." She responded, trying to contain her excitement about the situation. "I'll be better once my things are unpacked and I can just lounge around for a while." Toby nodded before flashing her an awkward smile. Holly didn't know why until he moved the concealed arm to the front of him, revealing an item in his hand.
Fuck.
Holly's face went bright red as Toby stepped towards her, holding out the pastel purple bra he had in his hand. "I think this may belong to you.." He mumbled, placing it down on her bed. He could see that Holly was obviously embarrassed, so he didn't think to teaser her about it. Toby didn't know much about women, but he knew when something he said might make a situation worse. This was one of them. Toby told her that if she needed anything that he'd be in his room, and as he walked out, Holly put her head in her hands. "Oh my gosh!" She whispered somewhat loudly. Holly's face burned. Her fingers were shaking. "Out of all things to fall out of my bag and be found by Toby, my bra was it?!" Holly tried to keep her freak out to minimum, as she didn't want to alert Toby. She knew there was no reason to be embarrassed, but she couldn't help it.
An hour or so later, Holly had packed all her things away, and her little freak out from before had died down, so she decided to go out and sit on the deck. She looked out over the horizon, the sun set making the sky a mesmerising purplish pink with a splash of gold. She had a glass of iced lemon tea, and a small bowl of orange slices sitting on the table next to her. She basked in what was left of the sun's light as she watched the moon appear ever so slowly. She couldn't understand why, but the country atmosphere really seemed to comfort her.
Eventually, a recently awoken Toby opened the sliding door and walked over to Holly, taking a seat beside her. He attempted to steal an orange slice, but was quickly rejected with a slap on the hand. "Don't you dare touch my orange slices, bitchboy." She warned as Toby kissed his teeth, allowing a slight groan to escape his lips. "But I'm fucking hungry, cunt." Holly turned her head to face him, looking him in the eye. "Then go fucking make something instead of trying to steal my snacks!" She instructed. Toby rolled his eyes as he scoffed. "But I literally cannot cook at all! Besides, I drove 12 hours to get us here!" Holly huffed at his comment. "Sweetie you had to beg me to come here, I am not beholden to you." She spoke fairly, taking a sip of her iced tea with ass much sass as she could muster. "I wouldn't exactly say I begged you, but fine. I'll make dinner, just don't come crying to me when you get fucking food poisoning and die."
