𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐲

Holly, Henry and Toby were getting ready for school the next morning when they each got a text. It was one of those automated text messages letting students know that because of the weather conditions, school would be cancelled indefinitely. Toby was probably the most excited about this news, as he sprinted back upstairs and chucked on the clothes he wore to bed last night. Holly was excited too, and Henry seemed sort of indifferent, but he was happy nonetheless.

Being up that early actually gave Henry some time to think about last night's situation. He was still upset, but he knew he wouldn't benefit from just sitting around and moping, so he decided to do something about it. Since Toby and Holly had already spent time alone, that gave Toby an advantage. Henry needed to even the playing field. Toby came downstairs again, telling the others he wanted to go back to sleep for a while. Holly and Henry said their 'goodnights' as they both sat themselves on the couch. The both of them were watching Total Drama Island, when Henry heard Holly's stomach growling. This was his chance. He turned to Holly. "You hungry?" He asked. Holly looked at him. "Yeah, but I'll make breakfast soon, I'm still kind of tired. Henry immediately stood up. "No, let me make you breakfast today." He smiled, before walking off into the kitchen. Holly smiled to herself before resuming her cartoons.

Henry decided to make Holly those egg and cheese muffins she likes. It took him around maybe 20 minutes before they were plated. He made a serving for himself before walking over to Holly and sitting down with her as they ate their meals. Holly looked at Henry, her eyes widened. "These are literally so fucking good what the fuck?!" She exclaimed, hastily taking another bite. Is this how Toby felt when he ate her food for the first time? Henry smiled with pride as he watched his blonde haired crush enjoy her food. After they finished, Henry even took it upon himself to wash and put away the dishes for Holly so that she could just continue relaxing. He went back to the living room, and sat himself down next to her. Holly ended up laying down, her head resting on Henry's lap just like the night before. He looked down at her and smiled. He was immediately taken back to the school sleep out where Holly had been hurt and fell asleep on him. He started stroking her hair, and turned down the TV as not to wake her up. In this moment, he felt like he was winning. He felt comforted. Around 30 minutes or so later, Henry fell asleep, his hand resting on top of Holly's head.

They slept for what felt like an eternity, and they ended up waking up at like 1 or 2 in the afternoon. Toby walked groggily down the stairs yet again, rubbing his eyes and yawning while he did so. He noticed the position in which Holly and Henry were sleeping, and it bothered him slightly, however, after last night's fiasco, nothing could really get him down. He let the blonde duo sleep for a little while longer, maybe 20 minutes or so, before waking them up. Both of them woke up, disoriented and confused as to where they were. When Holly opened her eyes, she saw two arms wrapped around her, holding her close. She could feel his warmth radiating from his body, enveloping her. His signature earthy scent was there too, and for others it was repulsive and gross, but to Holly, well it was actually quite comforting. Instead of immediately moving, she laid there for a while, letting herself bask in the safety of his arms.

Henry woke up not long after her, and he noticed the same thing. He refused to move. He'd been waiting for this moment for so long, and now that it was finally here, he wasn't going to ruin it by moving her and waking her up. At this point in time, he didn't know Holly was awake, so he started to stroke her hair again. Holly kept quiet, she felt that if he found out she was awake, he'd stop, and she didn't want that to happen. The fact that she was fake sleeping gave her the chance to do stuff she couldn't normally do while she was awake. She took this chance to cuddle into Henry even more than she already was. Henry noticed this and pressed his lips against the top of her head, kissing her softly. Toby somehow noticed none of this, as he was too busy heating up some dino nuggets he found in the freezer.

Another 20 minutes had passed, and Henry and holly both decided to get up. Henry moved his arm, and was shocked to see how quick Holly was when she moved. Holly turned to Henry, shocked at how awake he looked. Neither of them had a clue.
