Holly awoke that morning to the smell of McDonald's. She groggily arose from her bed, her bare feet touching the cold floor. "Holly! Breakfast!' Her father beckoned from the kitchen. "Coming, Dad!" She yelled back, before putting on her favourite green, fluffy slippers.
Holly walked into the kitchen, rubbing her eyes as she let out a yawn. "Egg and cheese muffins from Macca's for breakfast today, champion!" He professed as he laid out her food on the kitchen table, along with a glass of lemon iced tea.
After breakfast, Holly decided to get ready for school. Whilst she was getting dressed, her phone kept vibrating. At first she thought it was just notifications from one of the many group chats she had on instagram, so she didn't think anything of it. After her daily routine was finished, she decided to check the messages, but was met with a shocker. It was Tianah. Tianah was probably one of the most dramatic people Holly had ever met, but she still loved her. Holly grabbed her phone and looked at the notifications. "HOLLY GUESS WHAT OMG" "TEXT ME WHEN YOU SEE THIS"
Holly looked at the messages, confused, yet intrigued. Holly texted back. "HEYYY WHAT IS ITTT" It was only a matter of minutes before she got a response.
T: "OMG SO JAI TEXTED ME"
H: "WAIT WHAT WTF DID HE SAY"
T: "SO BASICALLY HE KEEPS TRYING TO GET BACK WITH ME AND HONESTLY I AM NOT HAVING IT 😭"
H: "OMG THATS LITERALLY SO FUCKING ICK LIKE WTF 💀"
T: "AND THERES MORE BUT ILL TELL YOU THE REST AT SCHOOL LOL"
H: "OKAY OKAY ILL SEE U AT SCHOOL LOL"
Holly locked her phone and walked into the kitchen to get her bag while her dad waited for her in the car.

Holly walked into her hass classroom, ready to start the day. She sat next to a boy named Henry Koval, she didn't know him all that well, but from what she'd seen, he seemed like a nice person. Around halfway through the lesson, She had a note passed to her from Tianah, who was sitting in front of her. The note read: "omg so i got the tea on my break up if u still wanna hear it lol". Holly looked at the note, trying to think of a witty response. She passed the note back to Tianah. "OMG OFC SPILL RN"
It took around 5 minutes for Holly's raven haired friend to pass the note back. She unraveled the crumpled, off white piece of paper to find Tianah's latest message. "ok so basically he texted me trying to get back with me, saying that he misses me and that he can't stand to be away from me anymore, then when i said no he started flexing his money and made up a fake girlfriend so he could play it off"
Upon reading the inscription, a loud, witch like cackle escaped her lips, causing everyone to turn around and stare at her. She could feel herself go red in the face and she unsuccessfully attempted to stifle a second laugh. Mr Clarke looked at her. "What's so funny, Holly?" He interrogated sternly. She looked at him, trying to think of a reasonable excuse as to why she disrupted the class. "Uh.. um..." She stuttered. "I was just thinking about something my dad said the other night. Mr Clarke shook his head in disappointment, not breaking eye contact. "Not impressed, Holly. Not impressed at all."
In the wake of Mr Clarke's lecture was a sound. It was very shrill and irritating, and almost nobody could stand to listen to it. Holly followed the loud, deafening noise with her eyes until she discovered its source. A boy in her class named Joseph. He looked at her, his eyes speaking louder than him, well, almost. Joseph looked at Holly, a sense of superiority evident on his face. She rolled her eyes before returning her gaze to her textbook. The blonde haired boy sitting next to her tapped her on the shoulder slightly, trying to get her attention. "What's the answer to number 4?" He questioned. "I know Mr said it's easy, but I just can't seem to figure it out." Holly looked at him before responding. "Okay well, I won't give you the exact answer word for word, but you should find what you're looking for in paragraphs 2 through 3." He thanked her for the help, and went back to doing his work.
Soon after, the bell chimed, officially commencing break time. Holly was hanging out with her usual crowd, when the same blonde boy from class came up to her, holding something.
"Hey, uh, I think this is yours.." He stated. "You must've accidentally left it in class." He held out the pencil case with the name "Holly" scribbled onto it. Holly relieved him from it, thanking him greatly."I'm Henry,by the way. Henry Koval." In the midst of the conversation, there was a loud, distant voice. It seemed masculine. A tall, brunette haired boy walked up to Henry. "You coming? We promised Travis we'd hang with him today." Henry turned to Holly, immediately apologising."I'm so sorry, but I need to go." Holly looked up at him slightly. "It''s fine, we can always talk later." He gave her a faint smile before he walked off with his friend, their voices trailing into silence.
