Holly awoke the next morning with no memory of the night before. All she heard was the sound of birds chirping outside her window. She sat up, allowing her eyes to adjust to the light that shone through. She rubbed her eyes and looked around. She laid in bed until she woke up a little bit more.

Holly got up and got dressed, and that particular day she was looking really pretty. She was laying on her bed, just playing on her phone and scrolling through her socials when her dad called her down stairs. "Holly!" Her dad beckoned. "Someone's at the door for you!" Holly stood up and made her way downstairs to greeter unexpected guest, however, she figured it would be Toby.

She walked into the entry way to see someone entirely different standing there. It was Henry. In his hand, Henry held a bouquet of flowers and a bar of lindt milk chocolate. She stood still, staring at the boy in utter confusion. "I thought I'd bring you these to make you feel better." He said, stepping inside as her father closed the door. "I can't imagine how shit you must be feeling right now." This was a rare occurrence, but he actually pulled Holly into a hug. He lay his chin on the back of her neck as he did so and spoke softly. "I don't know what happened between you and Toby, but I'm here for you if and when you want to talk about it." Holly smiled as she tightened her grasp. Something about Henry just made her feel at home. He never did things like that for other girls, so she felt like she was the exception. Although Henry would never let that information come to light, that was exactly the case.

"Go get your purse." Henry instructed as he released Holly from his embrace. He noticed that she looked confused, so he added a little bit of context. "I'm taking you shopping. Now hurry up before I change my mind." Holly scurried off to her room to retrieve her purse, when she noticed something on her desk. It was a grey hoodie.

After a few seconds, it finally registered. It was Toby's grey hoodie. Almost immediately, the memories of last night came flooding back. The thoughts overwhelmed her as she started to relive all of the events. She remembered him saying he liked her. She remembered the food he bought. She remembered everything. Alongside the memories, the feelings also came back. The confusion, the slight tinge of anger, the anxiety. It did not feel good. However, she was determined to not let this affect her. This was her day out with Henry, it would be wrong to just obsess over Toby. She quickly stuffed the hoodie into her wardrobe and grabbed her purse.

After she reacquainted herself with the two men that waited for her downstairs, Henry leaded her outside. She hopped into the passenger of his black patrol car and the two were off. "So where's the best place to get the kinda stuff you wanna buy?" He asked, glancing over to Holly. She looked at him with a smile and spoke sweetly. "Personally, my favourite place to go is Carousel. It's got tons of cool places to go to. You might even like a few of them" Henry scoffed. "Doubt that, but if that's where you wanna go, then that's where we'll go."

After around 20 minutes or so, the duo arrived at her desired shopping centre. The two of them walked inside and started to roam the area. Holly saw a cool place called Myer, so she decided to lead Henry there. Henry didn't seem too miserable in there. He was just happy to get Holly out of the house.

Holly bought a few things before exiting the store, Henry right by her side. As they walked around, Holly noticed this really cute place. Build A Bear. She tugged on his arm sleeves. "Oh my gosh, Henry! We need to go in there and get matching bears!" She insisted, gesturing towards the store. Henry rolled his eyes. "Fat chance. Teddy bears are childish, and they're just an indication that the person who possesses them has clearly not learned how to grow up." Henry could be really pessimistic at times, and it kind of annoyed her sometimes. "Come on, Henry! Do it for me!! Pleaseeee?" Henry tried his hardest to resist her begs, but he gave un eventually. "Fine. But if you tell anyone about this, I will rip yours to shreds and shove the remnants down your throat." Holly was slightly alarmed at his vicious yet satiric statement, and grabbed his hand as she lead him into the shop.

~time skip an hour~

The two of them exited the store, each holding a teddy in their arms. "That too way longer than it should've, Holly. I mean, you spent like 30 minutes on outfits and accessories alone." Holly laughed and looked at him. "Okay but the teddies are so coot though. I mean it even has these." She reached over to Henry's teddy and pushed a button that lay on it's left paw. "It's givingggg!" The teddy spoke. The voice inside it was Holly's. "You can't tell me that isn't coot." She cheered. "How can something 'be giving'? Like honestly Holly you are a mystery to me." Holly jokingly punched him in the arm. She then pressed the button that was on her teddy. "Yeah nah this thing is fucking stupid when can we leave?" It started. Then, Holly's voice chimed in. "Oh stop being such a fucking sook Henry and just do the fucking voice message!" The two bickered for a little while longer when the audio cut out. Holly burst into laughter. "What's so funny?" Henry interrogated as he looked to Holly with a vague expression. Holly was unable to respond, at this point she was just coughing herself into an early grave because of how hard she laughed.

Henry shook his head. "I'm never going out in public with you again." He laughed.
