𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐝.

𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐢𝐟𝐭𝐲 𝐭𝐰𝐨

It was now the day of the ball, and Holly was getting ready. She had a hair appointment at around 1:30pm. She didn't have anything major done to it, just a few highlights and had it curled. Her makeup wasn't anything too dramatic either. She just had a light eyeshadow look with a natural false lash, a nude like pink lipstick and had the basic base makeup done too. 

The dress she's decided to wear was absolutely beautiful. The bodice was the most elegant lilac purple colour. The back of it had the prettiest ribbons of the same colour in a little criss cross pattern going all the way down the bodice, and the sides seemed to be mesh or a material of similar make. Intricate little flower designs were scattered across it too, flowing gracefully into the shoulder sleeves. Those same flower designs cascaded like a purple waterfall, transitioning into the skirt portion of the dress. The skirt was made of a veil like material. No significant designs, but the simplicity of it was a good choice, as it didn't make the dress too distracting. 

Her choice of jewellery paired well with her outfit. Nothing too over the top, but it still looked beautiful. Just like the skirt of the dress, the simplicity of it added more than one would think. 

She slipped on the lovely white quartz coloured heels onto her feet. She looked at herself in the mirror, and fell in love with herself. However, her heart felt differently. Even though she looked beautiful, her heart felt ugly. As she stared at herself even more, she kept wondering what the point of all of this was. Why was she going to all these lengths, when she knew Ryan would just put her down the second he saw her. 

In her heart, and in her mind, she knew it wasn't Ryan she was trying to impress. It wasn't Ryan she wanted to be with. This was the first time she realised this. She jumped into a relationship with Ryan because she just didn't know how to deal with her feelings for the boys. "Gosh, Holly." She sighed as she looked at herself in the mirror once more. "You really know how to pick them don't you?" She spoke in an attempt to humour herself. 

At that same time, Henry and Toby were at Henry's house, doing final preparations for the ball. "Everything ready for tonight?" Toby asked as he zipped up his girlfriend's dress. Bella chimed in. "Ready for what, Toby?" She questioned, a look in her eyes as if she thought it was about her. Toby turned her around, looking her in the eye. "Nothing, hon. I'll meet you in the car, okay?" Bella nodded as she ran into the living room and outside to get into the limo they had hired. 

Henry waited for Bella to leave the room before answering his question. "Yeah, all good to go. Give Tianah a quick call before we leave though." Toby nodded as he pulled out his phone and dialled her number. "City morgue! You stab em, we slab em, how may I help you?" She laughed through the phone. Toby and Tianah were actually on good terms now. In the few months Holly and that had stopped talking, Toby, Henry and Tianah had spoken more and more. 

"Oh shut up!" Toby laughed. "Just checking in to see if you're all good to go for tonight?" Toby questioned. "Unfortunately, I am. I hate that you're making me do this. I mean I'm so happy to save Holly, but isn't there some other scene I can make besides this one?" She complained, Emily and herself both groaning. 

Toby shook his head. "Look, I'll pay for the therapy after, but this is the only thing that will make her stay. She's mentioned that if she ever saw this happen, she'd freeze on the spot. That's exactly what we need." He assured, a huge grin on his face. The two finished their conversation and Toby put his phone back into the pocket of his tux. Henry shot him a look. "She does not sound happy about what she has to do is she?" Henry asked with a smile on his face. 

Toby laughed. "No, but I mean, who would?" He explained, causing Henry to nod. "Besides, the whole idea of this is to shock Holly so much that she won't dare to leave her position. Even though she isn't happy with how she has to do it, Tianah is more than willing to do anything if it means we ca. get Ryan. He continued. 

The plan for that night would not just shock Holly, it would shock everyone. 

After finalising their plans, the boys made their way out to the limo and greeted Bella before making their way to the venue.
