Juniper was hiding in an empty classroom. She'd never admit it to anyone, but she's scared of Sue Sylvester. Everyone is. But, that's not why she's hiding. She knows that Sue and Mr. Schue don't always get along, and the one thing she's afraid of more than the ferocious cheerleading coach – fighting, yelling, screaming, etc. Which is ironic when you think about it since she's always picking a fight with someone.

"There you are."

Juniper looked up and saw Rachel come into the room.

"I've been looking for you everywhere," said the diva as she sat down on the floor next to the younger girl. "Why are you hiding in here?"

"I don't want to go to Glee Club," mumbled Juniper. "Sue's gonna make it hell, I know it."

"That's probably true, but you won't be the only one having to suffer from her presence. I'll be there. Tina and Artie will be there. It's going to be fine."

Rachel gave the smaller brunette a smile and stood up, extending her hand. Juniper reluctantly took it and the two headed to the choir room, a bad feeling growing in the pit of her stomach.

"Ladies' choice, heads," said Sue as she flipped a coin.

Mr. Schue caught it and flipped it over on the back of his hand. "Heads," he sighed, rolling his eyes.

"Awesome," said Sue. "All right. The following students have been selected for a special elite Glee Club called Sue's Kids."

"Hold on," Mr. Schue interrupted. "We agreed not to split up the group."

"Aw, come on, Will. Give me a chance to do things Sue Sylvester's way. Maybe with my proven leadership abilities, I can help this pathetic group of mouth breathers place at sectionals."

"We can't even compete in sectionals if we divide up the club, Sue. It's against the rules."

"Really? You need to crack open a book, William. Here," she tossed a book to Mr. Schue. "I have. Show Choir Rule Book. Page 24. Provision 14. Second addendum. 'Twelve members must perform for each team. However, not all members must perform every song.'"

"Fine. Just go ahead, take all the football players and your Cheerios," he said sitting down.

Sue turned back to the Glee kids. "All right, everybody. Listen up. When you hear your name called, cross over to my side of this black, shiny thing."

"That's called a piano, Sue."

"Santana! Wheels! Gay kid! Come on! Move it!" yelled Sue and they crossed over to her side of the piano. "Asian! Other Asian. Orphan. Aretha. And Shaft."

Juniper rolled her eyes – tired of being called an orphan – and went over to Sue's side of the piano with Tina, Mike, Mercedes, and Matt.

"See, Will," said Sue, turning back to Mr. Schuester, "I don't want to participate in a group that ignores the needs of minority students."

"You have got to be kidding me," said Mr. Schue, standing up.

"I wouldn't kid about this, Will. And maybe that's your problem. Bigotry is no laughing matter."

"And that's how Sue, sees it," said Santana, smiling and making a "C" with her hand. Juniper smiled a little at how Santana looked so cute doing that.

Sue turned and smiled at her. "Outstanding."

"I'm k-k-kind of nervous," stuttered Tina.

"I debated not even showing up," Artie added.
