My alarm clock blared through my room, I woke up from my dream that I vaguely remembered. Yesterday morning I was finally able to feel secure going home, even though I dreaded seeing my dad or Samantha. My mom was moving into her apartment so it was going to be a long day. I put on a sky blue tee-shirt and shorts, and threw my hair into a messy ponytail. I walked to the guest room and lightly knocked on the door.
"Come in," My mom yelled, Anthony was out with Samantha and my dad, they refused to help so it just was me and my mom. The guest room was back to it's original state, but there were boxes of clothes and Amazon packages scattered everywhere, since this was my mom's first apartment she had no furniture yet. Nathan insisted on helping, since nobody else was.
"I wrote down a list of things we need to do," I said as I presented my mom a notepad.
"That's a lot," My mom said as she flipped through the pages. I can be pretty straightforward.
"This will all fit in my trunk," I said as I began picking up boxes. Without saying a word my mom did the same and followed me to the driveway. I opened my trunk and in the corner of my eye I saw Nathan come back from his run. He took out his earbuds and began to help me with the boxes. I ran back upstairs and took all of the boxes and put them by the front door. I then took all of the Amazon packages and placed them in my trunk. We were done, with the packing there was still so much we have to do.
Nathan closed the trunk and sat in the backseat.

We all walked into the empty apartment, I began putting the boxes down. It took ten minutes before everything was in the still empty apartment. My mom had all of the things she needed, a couch, bed, table, desk she ordered them from Amazon, they were all already delivered.
"Nathan, I wanted ask you something," My mom said as she approached him. I raised my eyebrow.
"I know that you got kicked out-" How does she know that?
"I wanted ask if you wanted to live in one of my extra bedrooms," My jaw actually dropped, my mom has never made a kind jester.
"I would love that, thank you so much. I- I can pay rent." Nathan said as wide grin formed on his face.
"No need." My mom said as she smiled. This was not the mom I know, she really is changing.
I feel like I am dreaming, lucid dreaming. This solves all of our problems.
"Thank you mom," I said as I hugged her. Right now I would rather live with my mom.
Nathan's birthday is tomorrow how was I going to top that?
