Christmas Day 2023, Portsmouth, U.K.

"Seb, wake up! It's Christmas!" Libby said excitedly, bouncing up and down on the bed like a child.   Seb groaned and pulled the duvet up over his head.    Libby laughed and jumped off of the bed.  She went to the bottom of it and lifted the duvet up, exposing his bare feet.   "Up!" she said, before tickling his feet.

"Libby!" he yelled, kicking his feet about as he tried to escape her fingers.  After it became obvious she wasn't going to give up he leapt out of the bed and grabbed Libby around the waist, making her squeal as he lifted her off of her feet.   "You little minx!"

"Got you out of bed didn't it?" she laughed as they fell back down onto the bed together.  Seb straddled her, pinning her down by her wrists.  Her laughter faded out as they stared into each other's eyes.

"Merry Christmas baby," Seb said, lowering his head to kiss her.  There was a loud bang on the bedroom door.

"Get up you lazy fuckers," called Emmie from out on the landing.  Seb groaned and rolled off of Libby.

"We have to get up, she won't give up now," Libby said.   The truth was as much as she loved Seb she couldn't wait to get downstairs and start off their first Christmas together.

"I know, I know," Seb replied.

"I'm just going to go and have a quick shower."

"Think I could get away with joining you?" Seb asked, a cheeky grin on his face.

"Well, if we're quiet..." Libby replied, winking at him.   "Mum will be downstairs already.  She always gets up at the crack of dawn to put the turkey on.  And Emmie...well she'll be down there breaking open the Babycham."

Seb grinned and jumped up off of the bed. He rummaged through the chest of drawers and found out his black skinny jeans and the novelty Christmas jumper he'd insisted on buying when they'd gone Christmas shopping in Portsmouth the previous day.

He also took out a pair of festive boxers that he'd bought back in Switzerland before they'd left for the U.K.

He heard Libby laughing. "What's so funny?" he asked her.

"Those boxers!"

He held them up. "Nothing wrong with them." Libby snorted as she saw the boxers again.  They were blue and covered in small snowmen.   There was a large snowman's head on the front with a large carrot nose.

Libby picked up her clothes for the day.  She too was going to wear black skinny jeans and a Christmas jumper.
