Libby placed the small white plastic stick on top of the toilet and sank down to the bathroom floor to wait. She leant back against the wall and brought her knees up to her chin, hugging them anxiously. She felt sick. Then again, that had been a regular occurrence for the last ten days or so, hence why she'd just taken a pregnancy test.

Seb leant back against the bathroom door, watching Libby. He wanted to comfort her but he really didn't have a clue what to say. It had been his suggestion that she took the test. She been sick nearly every morning since before Spa, during Spa, and during their three day visit to Heppenheim. He knew that it was highly unlikely that she was pregnant. She had the contraceptive implant after all, so this test was just to rule it out, but it had made him think about how much he actually wanted them to have a baby one day.

"What if I am pregnant?" Libby blurted out. Seb took a deep breath before answering. He didn't know how she would react to what he had to say.

"Would it be such a bad thing?" he said quietly. Libby's head shot up and she glared at him.

"Seb, we've been together for how long? Not quite eight months. I don't think that's nearly long enough to even think about having a baby. I want you to myself for a while yet."

Seb knew she had a point, but he longed to be a father. He couldn't wait to get her pregnant and see her belly growing with his child. "I'm not saying we plan one, just that if you were pregnant it wouldn't be the end of the world."

Libby looked away from him. She got what he was saying. They both wanted children eventually, and they would love the baby if she was pregnant, but she really hoped she wasn't. Seb was still undecided about his Formula 1 future. He had the next few weeks to try and make his mind up. Could she really cope with a baby if he decided that he was going to carry on racing? He was having a fantastic season so far. He'd won seven out of the thirteen races and was leading the championship by forty points. It was highly likely that he'd want to continue while in that sort of form.

"It's highly improbable that I'm pregnant, the implant is more than 99% effective," she said, with more confidence than she actually felt. Seb crossed the room and sat down beside her. He took her hand in his and held it tightly.

"Look, we will know in less than a minute. Whatever the result is you should book a doctor appointment. If you're not pregnant then you need to find out why you're being sick so often."

"I know. I will do."

They sat in silence, time seemingly standing still. Seb looked at his watch. Finally he spoke. "Time's up. Do you want to look or shall I?"

Libby bit her bottom lip. She didn't want to look. She didn't want Seb to look. She knew that they had to know though.

"I'll look," she said, standing up. She reached her hand out and picked up the pregnancy test. She took a deep breath and looked at. She gasped.

"What does it say?" Seb asked, eager to hear the result. Libby looked at him tearfully.

"I don't get it," she said. Seb was confused. She didn't get what? "How? I..." She paused. "Seb, it's positive. I'm pregnant."

Seb wanted to cheer. He wanted to jump up and down with joy. His Libby was carrying his baby. This was everything he had ever wanted. Sure, it was earlier than they'd planned, but it was a blessing. However, seeing how visibly upset Libby was he held back his emotions. He stood up and pulled her into his arms, kissing the top of her head.

"Oh my God," he finally said. "It's ok prinzessin, it's ok. Everything will be fine. You have me, I'm not going anywhere. You have your mum and your sisters, you have my family. Everything will be ok. I know you didn't want this yet but Libby....our baby."
