Maryam's phone was ringing but she wasn't close, it rang again but no response. He still dialed again for the third time and then she picked.
"Hey dear, sorry I missed your calls twice I wasn't close, just came into the room now." Maryam said taking a seat on her bed, she was talking to her fiancé Abdulrahman.
"It's okay, I thought you were just doing some kind of jan aji you know." She laughed while clearing her voice.
"Jan aji for what kuma? Ai aikin gama ya gama koh??" She asked amused.
"Yeah I know right! So tell me on a scale of 100 how excited are you?"
"Well I would say 1000 percent if there is anything like that. God! I am beyond excited Abdul, this is so like a dream come true." He laughed at her response.
"Wow! So if you are this excited now tell me how you are going to feel when we are officially husband and wife?" He asked her with so much adoration.
"Hhmmnn to be sincere with you I can't imagine it, I mean I don't think I have the words to express how I will be feeling that very day but one thing is for sure that I will be on cloud nine." Her love just got multiplied by 1000 times in his heart.
"Maryam indeed it's going to be a memorable day for us inshaa Allah. I pray that May Allah spare our lives to witness it. Allah ya tabbatar mana da alkhairi. I love you so much Maryam, you are my life, my heart and my love and you will always be inshaa Allah. I am not perfect but I promise to never let you regret choosing me as your life partner." He said with full conviction and she was 101 percent sure that she made the right choice. His words gives her goosebumps and tears in her eyes.
"Abdul I know I made the right choice with you. I love you too maybe not as much as you do love me but believe me you that I will choose you over and over again. I love what we have, how you make me feel special and our friendship. I pray that Allah reserve our love till jannah. I am neither perfect too but I promise to be everything you ever needed and more inshaa Allah." This was how their conversation went on, sharing their deepest feelings and adoring each other.

Back in Abuja, Abdulrahman's father and his entourage are safely back home the next day that's Sunday and after some brief discussion in Alhaji Ali's residence, the others left for their homes tired while Baba Ali was accommodated at the guest wing of the house.Alhaji Nabeel was taking a nap while his wife unpack his luggage sorting out the clean and dirty clothes. She searches the pockets of his clothes in case he left anything important there because her husband is fond of doing that most of the times. While searching a white used outfit of his she felt something like a paper so she dig her hand inside the pocket and she brought out a white piece of paper. It looks like a letter she says but she didn't open it. She kept it aside until she finished what she was doing. After clearing and rearranging everything she went back to the paper and open it to see what's written in there.
Her eyes almost fall out of their sockets due to the amount of shock she got from reading the letter. She read again and again but she couldn't get to wrap anything around her head. She folded the paper in her hand and left the room immediately to hers. On her bed she read the paper again and she was quite. Where did this letter comes from? Who wrote it and why would he or she do it anyway?? Is anyone aware about this letter yet or is it just her husband? Why didn't he mention any of it? These and even more were the questions running through her mind and she couldn't get the answer to even one.
After a while she calmed down and her mind was telling her that this could really be of advantage to her really because she has been thinking of how to stop Abdulrahman and Maryam's wedding but she couldn't come up with anything. She tried instigating everyone around her including her own daughter Firdaus but nobody is supporting her. But this letter right here may be all she needs to cancel this stupid wedding from taking place and she won't relent. She knows exactly what to do and how to go about it and inshaa Allah she will succeed this time around.
